Are the socks helping? Have your calves fully healed? All I can say about your posts is WOW. Wow at your progress. Wow at how much you've pushed yourself. Wow at fighting off hunger daemons and pushing through to go to the gym. You really are an inspiration.

It got cool here too - I love it  Nice change from the humid hot of Florida. Those sound like nice work-hours. Home by lunchtime. :) Glad you found some shoes that make it easier on you. Good shoes are SO important.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm surprised (happily) how quickly my body is adjusting to the lower-calorie intake already. I was worried that since it was used to so many calories I'd be hungry all the time, but I'm just a little munchy. Having pre-made breakfasts ready for me really helps - thank goodness I made so many…

HELLO!!!!! I've miss you guys. My scale missed MFP too ;) I had a TON of fun on this cruise and walked SO much. My Garmin said I reached my "goal" everyday - usually by noon. The ship was just so big you can't help but walk a ton and the excursions were all fairly energetic. So... The bad news: I'm up 6 pounds. Not nearly…

Nice!!! They're super cute. :) How's the new job going?

Wow, great posts while I was away and great progress! Glad to hear that your legs are holding up and your trainer is taking good care of you. Fantastic progress pick! Keep it up!!! :D

Wow... I go away for a week and you have major life-changing events. Glad your friend is doing ok and your company is being so nice about it. Also glad to hear that through all of that you still have motivation to keep working out and moving towards your goals. Aim for a quieter week this week, ok?

Hello Friends! This will be my last post before the cruise!!! SO looking forward to it. I know I'll eat horribly and drink way too much and gain weight, but it's a cruise. I'm going to enjoy myself. Hubby and I are already planning morning work-outs together in the gym and I'll be bringing my Garmin, so I'll at least try…

Sheesh! That program does look intense - but AWESOME! I'm really glad to hear your trainers are taking your leg into account. The last thing you want to do it injure it more, and it sounds like you can work your way up to really pushing it. Keep up the great work!!! :)

Glad you prepared for this! I think that's one of the greatest challenges of watching what you eat - preparation! You're goals are awesome and that gym sounds amazing. Kick May's butt

Aww Kell! Feel better soon. Hopefully the dr. can give you something to help you heal quickly and correctly. *hugs*

Despite my indulgence this weekend, I lost a pound this week. I couldn't weigh in at the same time of day, but I'm still excited about the loss. I'll weigh once more Friday morning before we leave and we can see truly how bad I am on my cruise  Lemon Ricotta cookies are struggling now - they got soggy-ish.…

Seriously struggled and failed with temptations over the weekend, but I feel pretty good today, so maybe I wasn't as bad as I worried? I forgot to weigh in yesterday, so I guess I'll do so tonight. I hate weighing at night, but I really have no clue what the scales have done for the last week and a half. Will update then.…

I haven't weighed again - weigh-in tomorrow :) Guys - I just made these Lemon Ricotta Cookies with a Lemon Glaze and they are AMAZING! Seriously you have to try them. I put them in MFP and they come out to around 115 calories each - Not bad for a sweet treat!
-
WEEKEND TIME! I found this awesome-looking recipe for Lemon Ricotta Cookies - I CANNOT wait to try them. Going to make them tonight for a game-day tomorrow at a friend's house. Picked up all the ingredients last night and I am ready to go! Physical was fine. Gave me a tetanus booster and a new script for my inhaler. She…

WOO! Congratulations! I've been thinking about you and hoping and praying you'd get the job. Can't wait to hear more about it. Glad you're back! Missed you.

I used to be really into the Wii Fit exercises - particularly the hula-hooping. I realized that hula-hooping was twisting my knees. Not good. I'm walking more and more and even on my hour+ walks I'm realizing that I'm not out of breath anymore. My quads and hips feel like they're screaming "go faster" or "keep going" but…

AWESOME! I'm with @WifiresGettingFit - Happy Dance all around! That Star Wars belt is just around the corner. Hang it up next to your scale as extra motivation in the mornings

I only use the Wii Fit for my scale (none of the exercises really). As I just replied to your thread, I LOVE my Garmin VivoSmart. The "lazy meter" and the step tracker... it's REALLY helped my weight-loss journey. I'm with you - tech all the way. If I had the money I'd have all the tech, but I have to pick and choose.…

I got the Garmin VivoSmart - it vibrates if I don't move for an hour. Then reminds me again at 2 hours. I call it my "lazy meter" and I LOVE IT. It's such a perfect little reminder during the day that the more I move the better I will look and feel. Glad yours has had a similar effect on your life! Mine doesn't have a HR…

I'm sorry to hear about your knee and the overall effect it's had on your life. Bike should be easier since it is low impact, but again work your way up if possible. Hang in there. You can make it. If you don't make your original goals it isn't failure. Not setting new goals is.

I used to work in Real Estate (6 years - the last two of which I dealt with Foreclosures - which is when I gained almost 20 pounds) so I know very well how much of a pain the whole process is. We haven't really started yet, I just started watching the market. We discussed it last night and we're thinking about actually…

Oh, it definitely gets easier the more you move because each time you unpack a little less and you throw out a whole lot more. We're hoping our next move will be into a house so it'll be for a little while. Went out for all-you-can-eat crab again last night with the family for my birthday. It was a LOT of fun. They sang…

@WifiresGettingFit The game is called 7 Wonders. I have the regular, Cities, Leaders, and the most recent one which is Babel. I've had to change doctors and dentists so many time because I've moved so many times over the last 4 years. Hopefully we're settled here for a while and I can keep these ones. @50extra I'm glad I'm…

Great job getting below 220! Speaking as someone with chronic knee problems - TAKE IT EASY. The worst thing you can do is push your knee immediately after injuring it. Give it plenty of time to heal. I know it's SO hard to not get right back to it. Your mind and body are probably itching to get back to exercising as…

Wow... Looks like I missed a lot when I switched accounts. Looks like you're on the right track and moving forward no matter what. Your determination is really inspiring. I'm glad I'm back to seeing your posts. :)

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! So far it's a beautiful day - looking forward to my walk(s) later. Hubby couldn't wait to give me his presents, so I opened them with breakfast before work. A Tupperware specifically designed to carry deviled eggs AND the expansion to one of my favorite games. Can't wait to try…

Hey @LottieStanley . Been thinking of you recently. Hope you're enjoying the lovely weather.

What a beautiful weekend! Sunny and 70's the whole time. Hubby and I got to go out to a local Kite Festival (where my current picture was taken) and it was so much fun. Lots of kids running around excited and a ton of awesome kites. Walked there, around, and back and it was over 2 miles. Got a little sun while we were…

Oooh, that sounds like a fun weekend! Enjoy! I accidentally deleted it one night, and while they reactivated it, I can't post in any forum I hadn't previously posted in and I couldn't accept new friends or send messages. So I decided to take the plunge and just switch accounts. I've been transferring recipes all day (it's…
