Thank you sooooooo much!!!! I'm going to brush this off for sure and not beat myself up about it

We have a tradition of going to a Mexican restaurant every Friday!!

Looks like I'm going to Taco Bell for breakfast!!! Haha. When it comes to salads, honestly McDonald's is my favorite. The southwest salad is the best fast food salad I've ever had IN MY LIFEEEEEE

My legs and arms.. I hope my tummy slims down next!!!!!! That's my problem area...

I've lost 5 pounds so far (I know it's not a lot but I'm 140 and 5ft 7), and I've noticed weight loss myself before anyone else. I noticed when I touch the backside of my knees while sitting down, they're way thinner and not as squishy. My mom noticed that my legs were looking muscular about 5 weeks into working out. My…

I have the SAME PROBLEM. I'm trying to better myself for the summer and look better than I do now, but I'm a foodie. I always snag some food if it's around me and I have been craving junk food like crazy ever since I started MFP. Out of my own experience and what I've learned so far, it's really mental. It's hard combating…

Hmm I thought I did that... Let me check again!!

You are inspiring to me!!!

Major issues will come your way if you continuously under eat!!! I know on my end sometimes I workout so much that I burn practically all I eat and am not hungry enough to keep eating. My advice is to eat higher caloried food (still healthy food though) that will keep your count up for the day and not leave your body…

I do weighted exercises 6 days a week. Monday:legs, Tuesday:Back and abs, Wednesday: Shoulders and chest, Thursday: Biceps and Triceps, Friday:Full Body strength, Saturday: arms and abs. I also do cardio every day along with weight training
-
I also lost 5 in a month!!! Progress is progress, and 5 pounds in a month is amazing

I'm about the same age and weight as you!!!! I am 19 and weigh 140! I started insanity and 6 weeks into it i was slimmer and had some awesome lean looking muscles! You won't get bulky on this program.. I promise!! This program will transform you because it's a good mix of cardio and strength. That said however... I got…

Even though I weighed 132 I still wasn't happy because I didn't work out, so I just felt flappy and had some rolls I wasn't proud of. But this time I'm looking to get into really good shape. I'm not just looking to get fit and lose weight for the summer, but I am also trying to change myself for the better for the rest of…

Self love is definitely needed.... What bothers me is that last summer I weighed 132 and this past year was caught in the 'freshman 15' of college, so I'm really trying to get back to my happy place!

Netting! Sometimes less than 1400 depending on how much i burn working out. Last summer I weighed 132, then gained 13 pounds my first year of college, so I am trying to get back to that!! I hate that I gained so much in college so far..

5 foot 7 1/2

Very true! I just have never felt confident about myself and want that to change this summer. I'm tired of covering up with a towel and comparing myself to others. I want to rock my own body one day!

Hey there! Another fellow college student here. I am finishing up my freshman year and college and boy....... the freshman 15 is REAL!!!!!!!!!! I gained 10 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I got MFP also and it's been helping a lot so far. As long as you're eating at a DEFICIT, you will lose weight. I eat about 1400 calories a…

Awesome results!!!! What kind of workout program or exercises do you do??
-
That's my goal too!! 135 is what I want to be (hopefully by summer time so I can look good at the beach LOL) but, slow and steady wins the race.
-
I totally understand...... Last summer I got into the "healthy fad" to stay fit during college and then once the semester started I couldn't keep up so I just quit trying and ate whatever I want. Now here I am 8 pounds heavier than last summer and am trying to find a permanent change. I'm tired if trial and error!! I don't…

Well I really want to get in the habit of eating better foods. Not only have I felt better, but eating more fruits and veggies and cutting out more bad things have helped me improve my workouts too! I actually had donuts and Chinese the other day, and when I went to workout I felt super sluggish, sick, and got exhausted…

Oh really??

I don't weigh everything, but I estimate the best I can! There are some things I measure with tablespoons or cups for example. I might start to weight things.... I bet I'm eating more than I think.......
-
Salads, fruit, veggies, yogurt, meat, eggs. I stopped eating so much processed food and I barely use butter or any other fatty additives or food.

I remember the day clearly when I started to "suck in my stomach". I was in 4th grade!!! So young. Ive been sucking in/ holding core every day since not even thinking about it, and when I don't suck in it hurts and is uncomfortable. I can't relax my stomach unless I'm sitting down.

19 this Sunday.... Whoop!

I used insanity and personally got amazing results and loved that I didn't have a gym membership to pay for..... However it gets pretty boring!!!! Whichever one you enjoy more and think you would do longest is what you should try. OR, you can integrate them both into your new activity!

Apparently you gain weight with it... No. I've enjoyed plentiful amounts of Coke Zero because it satisfies my cravings for sweets and doesn't sabatoge my health track. Even with drinking Coke Zero I've lost 8 pounds so far. Nothing new here to the "beware Diet Coke".
