If you want to have definition on your muscles, you need to hit the gym. A good protein intake would be .8 - 1 g of protein per pound of body weight

I do 1700 calories as well, but I'm 6'0. I'm guessing it's fine if you don't feel restricted tbh I wouldn't go any lower than 1600 tho
-
It's all about relative strength isn't it? I'm trying to bench at least 170, but I can only do 110 lol
-
Because we are genetically programmed to eat anything that is calorie dense(for survival)
-
I think it's if you feel like eating a bit more, the deficit ou incorporate into your diet will take care of almost everything, what you burn during exercise is the icing on the cake
-
It happens sometimes to me too, I will see tomorrow since I ate pizza, poutine, gilato, Hershey's bar, cake and some chips today lol
-
A calorie deficit that will get you to low enough body fat percentage
-
1800 cals, boring diary tho
-
Yeah, the key is to stick with low calorie but high in protein foods, such as chicken or beef. That doesn't mean you can never eat bacon tho!
-
The I keep motivated is thinking that I am working to become a better self
-
Remember, there will be screw ups along the way, no one is perfect. But the key to your weight loss success is consistency, I wish you the best!
-
Do you weigh your food?
-
I can give you the routine I am doing
-
Don't worry you won't lose any muscle, but the neural adaptations your body made to adjust to lifting may take a hit
-
If you are a guy, 1100 calories a day is way too little. You don't have to exercise 5-6 days a week, if you can lift weights 3 times a week that is more than enough to preserve muscle while cutting in a modest deficit, while walking at least 1 hour on your rest days

I had a chocolate dip donut from Tim Horton's and some ice cream
-
I usually push my first meal 4-8 hours after waking up, then feasting on a 1200 calorie meal lol
-
Any kinobody fans here?
-
You can eat sweets, I always have ice cream after my lunch and it doesn't hinder your weight loss, that is if it fits your macros
-
Mmm for me it would have to be grilled chicken and rice
-
I think the biggest is when you are over weight most of your life(me)and that is the self image that you associate yourself with and as a result you somewhat reject change because it means changing who you are, which is difficult to do.

I am eating between 1700-1800 calories myself, have you tried intermittent fasting? When I wake up, I always skip breakfast and eat fruit and 2 cups of black coffee max. Then after 4-8 hours I eat my biggest meal of the day(1200 calories) then the rest on the evening
