I have a cheat day 1x a week... but I don't cheat all day, just on 1 meal. So if I know my husband wants to go out that evening for dinner I will be xtra good for breakfast and lunch to save as many calories as I can for dinner. Might sound a little nuts to some, but it has helped me lose 56lbs since March.

I have 1 cheat day a week when I will cheat on 1 meal only. Usually when my husband is off from work and we go out to eat. I still log everything for that day, and try not to go way overboard.

I weigh once a week.. "weigh in Wednesday" is what I call it lol. If u weigh every day u will certainly set urself up for failure because ur weight does fluctuate during the day.. once a week, first thing in the morning ( after I go to the bathroom and say a little prayer lol) and before u eat or drink anything. I use slim fast in the mornings for breakfast when I'm in a hurry to get out the door. The new chocolate high protein shake they have is actually not bad. It has 24 grams of protein and it does curb my hunger. I get the powder, not the stuff already mixed up. I don't follow their plan tho.. I just use it for breakfast…

I do eat a lot of packaged food because it's convenient. .. I guess I need to get everything unseasoned or raw and cook it myself. I'm a mom of 4 and I cook meals for my family but now that I'm dieting I don't eat what they eat because of the calories and fat.... I usually have a lean cusine or something like that.

Walking at a faster pace! Lol.. I walk 2 miles every day and I have yet to do it in less than 40 minutes. Now mind u these are not miles on a treadmill.. or on an even track.. they are country miles with dirt roads and inclines..

I take my watch off during all exercise that is sync with Google fit.. that way it's not being double logged if I log it myself

Yep.. it takes time for ur stomachache to signal ur brain that u are full. Eat a little slower if u can, use a smaller plate, it tricks ur brain into thinking u have more food than u actually do and make sure u are getting lots proteins

Thanks every 1 for ur replies and advice! I can definitely tell exactly where 8m losing the weight... seems to be all in my chest lol.. I can definitely go down a bra size at this point. I just hope the hips and belly happen soon!

I started my journey back in March and started using MFP about a month ago. I have found logging EVERYTHING I eat has helped me stay on track. My goal is to lose 100lbs within a year. I started off at 250lbs and I'm down to 226 right now. Add me if u like... we can help each other on this journey :smile:

I also have bad knees.. so I like that his videos are low impact. I recently bought Sweating To The Oldies 3 and it's much more high pace then the first 2. Learning the steps on this 1 has been a challenge!

Use a smaller plate! It tricks ur mind into thinking u have a full plate of food when u actually have about half of what u would normally eat. I have a young child and I use his plates instead of a regular dinner plate.
