I don't want to get too far off topic, but am I the only one that's suspicious of people who don't use a real pic of themselves?

I think because MFP is a fitness app, it probably has a lot to do with people being proud of the progress they're making and want to show off a little. On a PC, the pics on the selfie threads are huge. Those people have got some balls. ETA - figuratively.

I want to say the rope climb was all technique, but it certainly doesn't help that everyone puts their muddy feet on it. Hopefully you went to air-assault and remember a thing or two about locking out. lol. You really shouldn't need to do too many pull-ups. Especially if you have a team of 5 helping each other out, the…

I've only done one Sprint and it was awesome. I'm excited for you gals. Have you already signed up for their "workout of the day" e-mails? Biggest things I saw people were struggling with were the rope climb and the monkey-bar type obstacles with hanging ropes and other odd handles. I No-Go'd the spear throw, since I…

You guys are awesome! Unofficially, I'm calling you guys "The Proclaimers." Keep up the great work.
-
Lol. Yeah, you guys are right and I think I knew it. Thanks for the feedback. Especially you, @Motorsheen. Very insightful and helpful. Thanks for contributing.

News articles about 6-year olds, person X, or some other nobody shutting down, eviscerating, or dismantling someone else on Twitter.

Great video. I'll definitely be working on my form, after watching that. I just wish the kettlebells wouldn't leave bruises in the middle of my forearms. lol
-
Lol. I said when times get rough. I'm talking like... three days or something. :p
-
Definitely. But let's face it, even a terrible person could still be food when times get rough.
-
Lol. So many questions being asked here. I can't be the only one thinking "Why are you living with a married couple?"
-
I would think making it to the half-way point would be great motivation. You've already done an outstanding job. Don't quit now.
-
Lol. That's awesome.
-
Of course you should. Join us. Brains... Feel free to add and I'll motivate as much as I can. Or as much as is convenient. lol

Hey, we're already friends. First time that's ever happened. I'm dealing with a 4-month old now. Hasn't really messed with my morning gym schedule. I just take any midnight - 5AM feedings then I'm out.
-
I don't log on weekends (cheat days), but I have an open diary and I'm active and meticulous about logging Mon-Fri. Feel free to add me if that's close enough. lol

That's terrible. Family shouldn't act that way to each other. Keep your chin up and rock on. You got this! Also, chocolate oranges are amazing :)

I think I should find a spotter sometime to figure out my 1RMs. Seems worth knowing. Sometimes I wish people would post about really obscure exercises. "Hey bro, how much do you shrug?"
-
Awesome first day! I'm excited for you. Keep up the good work and stick with it.
-
Moved to Georgia last year and I love it! Feel free to add me, as well.

I believe with the Strong Lifts 5x5 program, you stick with that weight for the day if you can handle it and bump up the weight on the next day. The app is free and fairly simple. EDIT - Also, good luck on your weight training. I'm really excited for you.
-
Looks like those other programs did pretty well by you, judging from your photos. Good luck! Feel free to add me.

I think my HS health teacher used to call easy mac "yellow death."
-
Aww. Don't hate your bodies.
-
I ate half of a pie by myself, in one sitting. That was last night.
-
Now you know. "And knowing is half the battle!" Hope tracking your coffee + condiments works out. Sounds like you're doing pretty well.

I don't know how much truth there is to it, but I've heard pickles are good for soreness and cramping. Even if it doesn't work, you still get to eat delicious pickles!
-
I thought "nutritarians" were people who only eat nuts.
-
I'm vague about what clean eating actually is, but I'm all about motivation and fitness! Feel free to add me.
