Thanks for that I might try it out and do it for a while before I'm ready to start Stronglifts properly . I'll have a look at e books if its that good I'll download it and read it .

One more question does this programme help you get stronger or is it more just for aesthetics?
-
Yes I will have a look money is just a bit tight at the moment and I wondered if I can just do the workouts as there are pdfs online . Thanks for replies everyone .

Any of those while in a deficit. None of them while in deficit. I personally drink a lot of peppermint tea but that's to settle IBS it has zero effect on my weight loss.

Thanks everyone for great tips, appreciate it.

Yea I'm not cutting carbs ... that never ends well for me . About to 15lbs to go but I would be more than happy with that 10lbs off

Complete opposite with me got to goal weight while single easy to maintain then I met my tall, skinny partner who can eat whatever he wants and not put on any weight and he introduced me to Reece's peanut butter cups and eating out every weekend plus drinking lol....good job I love him . But it's alot harder for me to diet…

I have Bipolar II only diagnosed last summer and like you have been on various Ad's before also been on Seroquel up and down and now doubling the dose of Lyrica. I hear you about binging at night too I could be doing so well and when I'm low it all goes out of the window. My advice is one day at a time. Don't think about…

Another vote for Yoga with Adrienne I was never really into it thinking it's something I want to try but too "hippy" for me to take it seriously but once I discovered her videos I am absolutely in love with it. I do it daily now my 8 year old often joins and she also loves Cosmic yoga for kids. I think it's great example…

No advice but this is my 3rd time in 2 years I got to last 10lbs and started regaining .Everytime I get close to it its like I'm sabotaging myself and I pile another 15 -20 lbs back on. I 've been overeating for a last week but can't let myself gain it all back again . I struggle maintaining deficit without exercise which…

Fibre messes me right up even though I had masses of Dr's telling me I need to eat high fibre . I had IBS for about 6 years and I found out it's highly individual. Brown wholemeal bread bothers me but white bread doesn't same with brown /wild rice . I eat moderate fibre and when I start taking more than usual I end up with…

Wednesdays so I can recover from weekend if needed although sometimes I'll weigh on a different day if I feel lighter and I'm impatient but Wednesdays generally work well for me.

So I googled specialist shops near me and on one website it has "neutral road" and "guidance road" trainers what's the difference ? So many great tips really appreciate all your help I'm quite excited about this .
-
Thanks everyone lots of useful tips. I think I will find a specialist shop first and get a good pair of shoes before I start running outside.

Thanks h1udd should I just ignore it and carry on ? I'm suppose to do weights tomorrow.
-
I do as it's heaviest I 've been lifting so far it feels heavy but also my hands were hurting throughout which never happened before . Would that really cause for pain to linger for days? I'll have to look online for chalk. I lift at home .

No thank you for replying I appreciate it .
-
No there's no tingling or numbing it's literally just pain in my palms nowhere else

Thanks everyone it's good to see everyone's experiences. I think I have been making it hard on myself because at this stage I am really struggling with moderation and binges have been occurring alot more. I don't want to put weight back that I lost so will just not keep stuff in the house that I binge on until I feel…

Every few weeks there's a post about hypothyroid and using it as excuse for not losing weight ...honestly I 've been hypo for over 4 y ,tried 6 different AD 's in 2 years , ALL of them related to weight gain and now taking Seroquel and Lyrica daily and guess what side effect of heavy duty meds are .... Whenever I eat what…

I 've recently had blood panel done again as I had to start Pregablin related to my Bipolar and although it's at lower end it is within limits,I 've been on 100mg Levotyroxine since I was diagnosed around 4y ago. As long as I accurately log and workout hence make a decent deficit (and earn extra food ) I'm losing just fine…

So you have IBS ? Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason with it and I 've experienced what you are many times without any particular reason . I love oats too and as soluble fibre thats something that should be a "safe food " but I'll tell you I have developed intolerance to foods I had my whole life. I…

Depends if you are feeling a bit stressed about everyday life or seriously depressed . I have Bipolar II finally diagnosed 6 months ago I still have swings from hypomania to depression and losing weight and exercise as beneficial as they are wont change the fact that I'll have highs and lows for the rest of my life. I hate…

18lb kettlebell for absolute beginner? What happens when she ends up with an injury when she's still learning proper form ? OP start with 5lb if that's what you 're comfortable with, once it starts feeling too easy increase weight. Kettlebell is a great workout but just as with free weights form is important.

Well done keep going. I 've regained 20 lbs I ve lost last year by becoming complacent. Lost 5.5 lbs since I 've restarted in Jan and will stick to it this time .

When I read "Aging " I thought you 'll be in your late 60's lol...hardly aging. I'm 38 and when I stick to my deficit and workouts ( creating decent deficit and keeping me sane with extra calories ) I'll lose . When I don't I won't,simple as that. Seeing how alot of older people than me on here lost crazy amount of weight…

Thank you both I only started developing cellulite last 4 years or so once my weight shot up, I'll stick with resistance and plan is to recomp once I'm at my goal so hopefully I'll see some results.

Mine was stuck for over 4 weeks I was tempted to chuck it out the window. But then yesterday I had a whoosh and it actually worked out as a pound per week since I started( lost just over 8lbs with 2 whooshes). Just give it bit more time ,as long as you 're still measuring and logging it will show. It can be demoralizing if…
