  • @skipper111 Good luck on your interview! You will do fantastic. You are doing much to make sure you have a better life, this is just one step in that direction. @terririchardson111 You are always doing such fun things. I hope my retirement is like that. @catvlmack Coaches are some of the biggest inspiration in a child’s…
  • @kimmysue100 If you know ahead of time you are going to do a friends night, with eating and drinking there a couple of things you can do to help. Some tips I have: Save 100 calories each day. (100 less than what they give you, unless you are at the 1200 mark.) This will give you a couple of more calories to enjoy that day.…
  • @rachel0778 Did you survive the weekend? I love that you didn’t let your workout get derailed. A little pizza isn’t bad. I love your healthy habit challenge. I would love a shopping spree. @tweaking_time. It is amazing what happens when we try new things. Good job on attempting something new. @junebug_13 Welcome, you can…
  • @carlsoda When I first started using MFP, I was great at logging. Then I got a little lax on the weekends. I usually end up going back in on Monday's and log. Lately, I have had problems focusing, so started back to logging weekends too. You can do this, and I love the goals for the day. Sounds like everyone had great…
  • @rachel0778 What will your healthy challenge be? Sounds like fun. My BF joined me in the gym challenge to be supportive, but he has only done 1 workout with me, and hasn't really been watching his eating, so not much support. @bluepoppies777 Great job resisting the treats! We started getting some much needed rain…
  • @skipper111 I have large assets and a good bra is a must. Right now I have a decent one, but not a work out one. I do the slow jog rather than a full run. Good job on meeting your goals and PB! Yesterday I did pretty good at all my goals, until I ran out of time. When I got home from work, I took a nap, which put me behind…
  • 1.The other day my SO commented that he has notice the back of my thighs, and butt are becoming more toned. I now have visible muscle. 2. Today I had to park in a small parking spot, thought I would have trouble getting out of my van. Instead I was able to get out without opening my door all the way, and I was facing…
  • @mari_moulin Oh my! Hang in there. I know that it sucks that the surgery was postponed, but try and look at the positive side of things. You are doing great sticking to your goals, making new healthy habits. In two months time you are going to be even healthier than you are now. This will allow you to have an easier time…
  • @bluepoppies777 Glad to see you back. Sorry about your son. You can get back on the wagon. I love the vet diet, think I need to give it a try. @rachel0778 Good to hear you are feeling better. Your SO is lucky to have you. I am sure he appreciates all that you do for him. Or he should anyways. @ShyCush6 Glad you are…
  • *****In our last 100 days, we as a group, decided we would like it if you post, that you acknowledge the last person who posted, with a short comment. This will help keep the support and community feeling going. I would love to see this continue.*** @skipper111 It is amazing how a good night, makes for a good attitude to…
  • @evamutt I try to give good advice or keep my mouth shut. LOL I spent a lot of time reading the forums when I first started a lot of it does help. That was so nice of you to give up something you love to do to help a friend. What a great friend you are. I am learning how important back up plans are. I need to be better at…
  • @fitphoenix I don't think I would be able to do the same video for 30 days either. I also get not wanting to be overwhelmed by too many challenges. I am in this one and the other one with you, plus one at my gym. Anymore and I think I would lose it. Well for some reason I am still not doing great on food. It is like they…
  • @graphics1125 Great job on your first 10 pounds! There are numerous reasons that you haven't seen a weight loss this month. You can check them out on the threads. I will list a couple for you here without going into too many details. 1. The first 10 pounds were probably mostly water weight that you lost. (Most people do…
  • @rachel0778 I think a lot of people are still on holiday. Not exactly sure what triggered the binge. Maybe boredom/depression.
  • 1. I did the team training at my gym Saturday morning. (First time) High intense cardio/strength training mix. It was an hour long class. Then I did the weekend warrior challenge right after. Another 45 minutes of circuit training. I was amazed I was able to do 2 classes with maybe a 20 minute break in it. I wasn't even…
  • Yesterday I failed miserably. I was exhausted physically and mentally, plus stuck at home with my oldest (17) who has a sinus infection. After her doctor appointment, she wanted to go out for lunch. So we did that. I was good and ate in moderation, but it was high calorie, then got home and ate everything in sight. Ugh.…
  • @SingRunTing Oh my gosh you and your new baby are both adorable! Almost makes me want another. (3 is enough.) I am glad you get a decent maternity leave. The intuitive eating will be an interesting challenge for you. I would love to give you all kinds of advice, but I will be polite and not. No one wants unsolicited…
  • @michelleywardell At the top of this thread is a link. Click on the link, a spread sheet will open up. Add your name, there is a column for your starting weight, enter that, and enter your goal loss on it. Every 10 days you add in your current weight. (you can do it sooner or after the 10 day mark, but the spread sheet…
  • @TerriRichardson112 Happy belated anniversary. @2020pinktogo Giving up pop and shopping are good goals. Good luck! @mari_moulin That is a crazy weight gain, I bet half of it is water retention and ToM. That will make a great weight loss in 10 days time though. My weekend was super busy, lots of fun, I did a little…
  • Morning folks! I think we have all gotten really busy with our other challenges. I know I am getting bad about coming in and checking up here. However, I wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter.

  • Guilty as charged!
  • yesterday, I did not say no to this yummy chocolate caramel cookie thing (Star Crunch) I hadn't had one in years. I bought just 1 ate it, enjoyed it and then walked for 30 minutes to burn those calories. I really wanted it, but I didn't want the calories it would give me. I thought long and hard about eating it. I decided…
  • @mbam89 Thanks. I am loving the progress. We have been going almost twice a week for a month. Sunday's is family time, so I don't get to really skate. More like roll slowly, watching constantly. So Thursday night is the only night I really get to skate, and then I feel like a total goon. Almost everyone there skates really…
  • @2020pinktogo Oh no! I am sorry to hear that. Hang in there. We are here if you need to vent.

  • That I would be trying out how to train for a 7k in an elevation that is 3000 feet higher than where I live, or that I am possibly thinking of doing a half marathon (Even if it is just walking.)
  • 7k on May 7th. This will be in a higher elevation (almost 8500 feet) by 3400 feet. I want to be able to walk this without dying and stay under 1 hour 15 minutes. Lose 10 pounds by my sister's visit on May 17th. That will be a 30 pound loss since I saw her last. 7 more pounds to go. Gym competition. I would love, love to…
  • @2020pinktogo Sounds like a stressful day. I would probably want to be at the closer place too, Time and money are big things in life.

  • @starjam25 I am a complete book worm. But I go in and out of reading stages. I am thinking about getting the Harry Potter books to read. I have never read any of them, and only seen one of the movies. I thought it might be fun to read them to my kids. 6, 7 years old. I did decent yesterday. Did a lunch run, after work…

  • Today I realized I have lost half of the weight I wanted to lose. Then I thought about how much I still had to go, a little over 50 pounds. I almost started crying. Not out of sadness, but in joy! I have lost half the weight I wanted to lose in less than a year. I now know that I can lose the other half. I can be a…
