  • Thanks for looking into it. I do remember seeing her on the spreadsheet at one point. Sounds like maybe aggressive housekeeping - but this group of amazing volunteers here and on the bigger team can usually fix anything!!!!
  • Hey Team Terrific! I am still here and doing the best I can during the work week. It's a challenge for sure compared to when I worked where I could set my own schedule. My work also gives some health benefits, so last year I signed up for WW with them at half price. Then they told us that they had to report the other half…
  • OMG yesterday I had my BEST exercise day but ended up with only 643 steps - lol. I did a hard power yoga class, then we rode our new cruiser bikes 9 or so miles in the afternoon. Today, back to the regularly scheduled work week.
  • Thanks so much! Remind me where I can find the invite, I don't remember seeing it anywhere, but I have so many apps and dashboards!
  • Trying to stay positive this weekend... @CycleMomOf3 I hear you loud and clear - we are definitely similar in this regard. Picked up my new cruiser bike and hubby and I went for a short spin. Of course, I didn't test ride at the shop and the bottom bracket is creaky, so will need to take it back next week. Other than that,…
  • This week my class kicked my booty. I was so mentally exhausted with the long days that Tuesday and Wednesday NOTHING happened except a lot of laying around before and after class. Yesterday was a better day. I ran/walked in the AM with my Garmin (yay me) and then after work went and joined the YMCA!!!! I realized that I…
  • @gamommy2 and @CycleMomOf3 - I am on Garmin Connect. I am not sure how to add Connections. I see badge challenges and groups available. My profile is AnnMcG and same photo I have here. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/profile/AnnMcG if that works. I will use Garmin for bike/run/swim For the Fitbit crew, I am on there, too…
  • Thanks for sticking with me - I just replied!
  • @DaffyGirl88 and any of your Garmin people - I'd love to check out any groups or challenges you do. I have a Fitbit AND the Garmin now, trying to figure out which I like better. Let me know where/how to find you!
  • Hey Garmin peeps - I need some help! I have unpacked my road bike after 5 years, and remembered I have a Garmin Fenix2 to use with it, with all the bike mount and cadence pieces. I haven't Garmin'ed in forever. Is this device even worth keeping? (I use a Fitbit Charge 2 right now, I obviously don't need to have the latest…
  • SQUEEEE on new fitness devices! What a great way to support your hard work!!! Sunday, July 11 was pretty good Steps 6841 Water 80 Tracked 1 Under 1 Exercise 1 This week I'm in class (zoom) all week, so I scheduled a 5:45 yoga class and I actually ATTENDED it! It feels great to start the day this way, but truthfully I could…
  • Yesterday was a WIN! I talked myself into going to the local park for a bird presentation, then I decided to stay for the two hour invasive species removal work day! After pulling potato vines for two hours, I came home and mowed the lawn. I also rode my cruiser bike to the park, so win win win! Food choices were fairly…
  • @cmhubbard92 whew! You DID have a LOT to deal with this week. And with all that, you managed to stick with us, and made some good choices, too. Don't be too hard on yourself. Dealing with stress eating is my nemesis, so I understand that snack machine call! Can you keep a bag of popped popcorn or something for when those…
  • Thanks for the heads up Brandi - all done!
  • Howdy @AB0215 and everyone! On TBBT, our IncredibleShrinkingGirl changed her username to CycleMomOf3. Do I just edit it on our sheet in the spreadsheet, or is there another place?
  • SW: 165.6 CW: 165.8 Not the week I was hoping for, but I know what went wrong and what to do to make it better, so it's on my plan for this next week. Thursday, July 8 Track: yes Under: yes Water: 80+ Exercise: nope Steps: 2264 Already had my walk today, I just HAVE to do it first thing or it likely doesn't happen. When I…
  • I feel the same way. I like the purposeful time 'playing' in soapy water. I even had our dishwasher taken out to make room for another cabinet in the kitchen! I also like to wash floors by hand with a rag and scrub brush. But I have a very small house with only two tiled floor rooms, so not too hard.
  • yesterday was not stellar...I ate pita chips for lunch! (and nothing else, basically I finished the bag) then we went to get hubby a new bike and had to go to two stores, resulting in take-out gyros for dinner. NO exercise and NOT UNDER on cals...today is a brand new day! Wednesday, July 7 steps: 2445 water: 80+ tracked:…
  • made it through Elsa without anything more than a few downed branches and palm fronds, and a VERY SOGGY yard. That's awesome news! Not so awesome, hubby stocked up on hurricane supplies that included smoked gouda mac and cheese, and pita chips (my crack). I managed to stay under barely by sneaking in a walk just before the…
  • Happy Tuesday! I survived the family party mostly by talking WAY too much - lol...it's been a minute since I had someone other than my husband to sit with for a few hours. It was great to see my mom with her only remaining sibling, too. And nobody talked about politics which was ideal! My cousin as expected had a HUGE…
  • Good morning from FLA everyone! Last night I took myself out for another walk so I could have a glass of wine and potato chips (our 4th of July tradition) with my husband. That is how the logging helps me best. I can prelog and see how to 'earn' what I want to eat! So a win for the day: Track: yes Under: yes Water: 80+…
  • @HASWLRS - thanks for getting us started, and the motivation for the MUAC - that really helps me keep it going. @maryc11 - your commitment and dedication these past months inspire me so much, and @DaffyGirl88 - your bright shining spirit fires me up for a great month. Let's take on the second half of 2021 with a fire in…
  • I'm so ready after a month off! I have already had my morning walk, and the sun is finally shining again here after several rainy days. Also had a healthy breakfast, and a plan for eating today despite the holiday. I'm so grateful for this team and the extra benefit I get from sharing my healthy goals with you all, and the…
  • JUNE is in the books! Head over to the JULY THREAD now!
  • That sounds fine - let's just leave it - thanks!
  • @HASWLRS and @maryc11 - AWESOME way to end the month!!! @cmhubbard92 - I see that my weigh-in from yesterday was added to the June spreadsheet, but I shouldn't be a participant in June. That should be my starting weight for July. I don't want to bring you all down, and June was a planned month off. Any way to remove me…
  • @brandi_84 - what a great month!!! congratulations
  • Hey Mary! The spreadsheet shows you as a Saturday weigh in, so you are good to go!
  • Weigh-in today to get my starting weight for July: 165.6 It could have been worse, for sure. If I don't log, I eat too much. The logging really helps keep me accountable. Going to UP my workout game for July, one way or another. No more cruise control...
  • This is my story 100%! Let's see if we can come up with some strategies to beat that pattern next month - deal?
