250-300 calories would not keep me full at all:(. I’m on 1200 calories and I eat at 10ish and 3/4pm ish anywhere from 500-600 calories each meal. Sometimes room for snack some days not. You’ll find your sweet spot maybe its meal times, amount of calories or macros. Adjust daily and see if you can find that sweet spot.

I’m down 20lbs not using a food scale and eating out a lot, with a few exceptions. I weigh cashews and every once in awhile I weigh something to recalibrate my eyeballs in particular cheese, potatoes and pasta. I have a coach that’s fine with it however I know that if my weight loss stalls I might need to pull it out.

Paper tape like painters tape?

Veggie wraps - my fav is avocado, salad greens, pine nut hummus, tomato with a small drizzle of balsamic vinegarette (keep separate until ready to eat:)). Pretty much any leftovers if you get an insulated bag as AnnPT77 suggested with the reusable ice bag you freeze.

So that was me. I ate drank and was merry and stayed at 230 (I'm 5'4"). Difference now is I eat, drink and am merry just on smaller portions. I eat out still just as much and I order mostly the same foods however I pack 1/2 home for lunch next day and I've started sharing with my husband and ording a side salad or steamed…

The only sustainable way really, unless you want to become a short order cook, is to eat what everyone is eating just smaller portions as has been mentioned. I also like the suggestion that you add a salad or steamed veggies to help fill out the portions to make them a little bigger without spending a lot of calories.

Ok so vegan pizza is a thing and some folks do order pizza without cheese. Google a vegan pizza and see what you get.

Ok 5 days for me. This is getting a bit crazy. 5 days?

@JustSomeEm thanks I finally got to get new shoes, I’ll try them out today. @fishgutzy I tried duck tape but I still felt the shoe rubbing but it could be because I already had a start of a blister. I went on reddit and found the duck tape trick along with two socks or Vaseline if anyone else has this problem - until they…

I think you and I can agree that people are diffrent. Different people struggle with different types of food issues. So to put everyone in the same box isn't fair. I too am not weighing everything, I do weigh somethings I just cant seem to eyeball like cashews I want a huge handful to be 160 calories when it's not.…

When people respond "eat less than you burn" it's because its simplifying in terms of "how to lose" because some complicate things, some feel - I can't eat after 7pm, I must eat breakfast, I can't eat xx foods etc. None of that is true in the simplistic terms of losing weight. Up until 3 years ago I didn't now about CICO.…

Do you have friends or family you can have watch the baby while you go to the gym? Trade favors or something? Or how about mommy and me workout videos?

This is it in a nutshell. To expand on it... Eat what you normally eat but keep it in your calorie goal. Eventually you will learn what foods are worth it and which food satiate you more. You'll begin to adapt your favorite foods to more nutricious and lower calorie options. I'd add start some exercise even if its walking…

If you like someone who takes the time to scroll back and comment on your success, updates or needs feedback feel free to add me. I usually only like a food diary closure unless one asked for help with their diary otherwise I’m super supportive. But I post food pics, dog pics, hiking trail pics and progress pics. These may…

I think you’re taking things a bit more seriously than needed. I’ve addressed the fact that I looked at a picture and didn’t read. Folks are just poking fun at me and rightly so. Lynn was being sarcastic. Look at their milk post. See humor - all in good fun:). Even I didn’t expect a real lava cake but I did expect some…
