So a relative of mine said instead of giving up something they will add something instead. So I think I will walk every day and add more steps to it every day. Relative said also you can have a reading goal, an activity or hobby.

I donated blood in the Spring. I keep getting calls to donate plasma. I ask them to send me a brochure or paperwork about it but they say they don't do that. And there is no payment. Just to donate because people need it. But I didn't know about the problems you might have afterwards with your blood/protein. Good to know.

As Louie Anderson says - Butter is evil. Comfort food equals bread and butter, lots of both. The only way I can lose weight is when I eat only 1 or 2 portions of carbs a day (and I don't mean the carbs in some fruits/veggies.

Oatmeal, cinnamon, fake maple syrup. Sometimes put in some flaxseed. Once in a while a pat of butter and/or sugar if I am not caring.

p.s. bone on bone knees and arthritis. Also holding on to door, me at an angle, alternating lifting knees up. My calves and behind knees hurt (podiatrist and orthopedist and vein doctor hasn't helped or tell me why my calf and behind my knee hurts and sometimes the back of thigh hurts.
