I am planning just about the same thing - towards end of June -- 24 weeks and hoping to be down 50 lbs. -2 lbs. a week. Eating healthier foods in right proportions and doing exercise 6x a week. I just lost 28 lbs. in 10 weeks. I am now only taking 1 diabetic pill instead of two. But I do know that I may not achieve 2 lb.…

I wonder if you got the chicken fajitas, if they could give you extra peppers and onions instead of the taco shell. Enjoy!

Hi, Congrats on your weight loss!!!!! The gym you joined - most of them should be able to give you a trainer one time for free (to show you machines and how to do them). Maybe the trainer could help you with which machines or weights would help you tone. Very proud of you!!!!

As many have said, I absolutely cannot bring it into the house, and I am talking about every carb on earth (except the fruit and veggie carbs). I have not binged in like 70 days. Many times though I feel like a snacky type of food - chips or popcorn or pretzels. If they were in the house fuggedehboutit. In a restaurant I…

I will read the 4 pages later but as you said in your first line, it is easier to not take that first bite. (Or buy only an individual packaged item)

I have just lost 24 lbs. pretty quickly. I have not binged in those 8 weeks. New for me. I am making so much better choices and if I want to continue losing, I can't be eating too many carbs at a meal and then have dessert. So I have to pick and choose what I will eat and won't eat. I think it is a good thing that you are…

Will read later, thanks

Hi, Diagnosed over 10 years ago. Doc just said to do Weight Watchers. Never told me anything about it whether it is important or what. I am glad to read that losing weight will help. Good luck :)

I think getting a bike is a great idea. If you watch tv, you can do 15 minutes at a stretch or slower in the beginning and keep on adding more time to it when you are ready. I have not binged in 7 weeks. I also do not keep any tempting foods I love in the house. I am a bite, two bites away from a binge if those items were…

I appreciate everyone here too!

You overcame the need to not eat more of the cake; a great success. Right now I don't think I can keep food I love in the house for fear of eating more than one portion. You have worked hard and maybe you would feel your wife and kids would be disappointed in you. On the other note, I never feel ashamed about my binging. I…

Idk. But I would call your gynocologist asap and explain the above to her. Spotting in nothing to ignore. Hugs

Hi, 6.4 AC1 not high. Did you fast before your lab test? If you didn't the 150 is so not high, and either way not high. More like prediabetic. Hospitals, if your insurance covers, they usually have classes - 5 of them, one on nutrition, one on what to eat and do when you are sick, one a counselor and 2 others. I was told…

Will check back later, thanks all for recipes :)

Great posts all. "...and a degree of constant control over your food." Amusedmonk - love this

No pain at all in stomach or back? If so, it could be gallbladder issues.

Congrats on working out 2-3 days a week. Hugs

You mentioned you just went to the doctor. What did they say about ..."but my thighs r so big that the skin is started to split and clear water like fluid is coming out. It's gross and painful." Are you still taking the two diet pills?

Binge eater here for so very long. I keep on keeping on. I never feel guilty because I know it feels out of my control. Take it one meal at a time. Sometimes it helps for a bit if you write down your reasons for losing weight, kinda a good reminder not to pick up food that you know you shouldn't. It is a constant struggle.…

When I read your title - stresses, I realized that I just had become stressed dealing with someone. So I just took some deep breaths. Helped a little and coming here and posting should help too before reaching for food (maybe)

..."Every meal is not a celebration or reward! ...or special event" This is a great thought. I eat out a lot or take in a lot too and overdo it. Just a regular meal. And interesting also someone mentioned that if you don't normally snack, why have snacks on the plane (unless it is mealtime).

Have fun

Thanks for reminding me - need to give that super-sized bag of flaxseed to a relative. One time though I toasted Ezeekiel break, put squished avocado on top and then the flaxseed. Wasn't too bad. But I am still gonna get rid of it.

So happy for you!

So I have gotten rid of clothes only to be that size again. After one winter I donated my winter coat with the thinking that next winter it would be so big on me. Yup, had to buy a new winter coat that year; I forget if it was the same size or bigger. And when I have lost 50 - 60 , a few different times, I just kept…

Just found this one "I decided to live my happiest, healthiest life and pass it on to others. If you don't work through the things that haunt you early, they'll stay with you for the rest of your life"
