@Alinouveau2 oh my God I am the most jealous ever!!! Everyone says he is super nice! I wish I could skate! I went skating in NYC 2 years ago and loved it even though I was awful. The closest rink to me is 2 hours away. I am going to do a one off lesson for fun. I wish I could take regular classes but that distance would be…

This is a great thread: Height: 5'6 Weight: 175 BMI: 28.2 Measurements: 40-34-44 Sizes: after taking my measurements and looking at size charts, according to most charts I should be either a 14 or 16, however all my stuff is either a 12 or 14, and my shirt size is Medium. I did my measurements like 3 times so I feel like…

I'm not even that tall, I'm 5'6 and 175lbs but yeah I also get that. I think with my body shape also I "carry it well" because even though I knew I gained more weight than I was happy with even I didn't realize just how much.

Grapefruit!! Fresh from my tree 😄 Pickles or Olives?

I just made broccoli rabe for the first time! I did it roasted with olive oil in the oven and it was delicious. I really miss the drive through farmers' market they were doing due to covid last year, it was so convenient and I loved trying new things with the blind bags. It will be 2 weeks since my 2nd vaccine on Monday so…

Not really what you're asking for as far as managing the sweet tooth, but it's also helpful to look at the sugar content in things you wouldn't expect. For example, I was shocked how much sugar is in most store-bought marinara sauces. Now I either make my own or buy the one with the least amount of sugar (usually the…

I mostly do salads and crockpot soups, I rotate them frequently because I get bored. This week I did a pretty simple salad - just a blend of spring mix and butter lettuce, sauteed chicken breast, tomatoes (they were the star since I got amazing fresh tomatoes from someone who grows their own) a few croutons and a homemade…

Definitely alcohol. Next probably chicken and any other meats I end up cooking with, but mostly chicken.

Hi! I'm 30 and a foodie as well. I'm just starting to log stuff so nothing exciting is on my profile yet but I love to cook. I think I already eat pretty healthy and just need to cut down on portions/amount of oil used. I joined after discovering last week that my BMI is on the high end of overweight - I figured I would be…

Facebook photo likes/comments and getting hit on my guys and then rejecting them by showing off my wedding ring :D lol! I promise those aren't the main reason but they are the things I miss that I don't really want to admit missing haha.

@g2renew thanks for all the tips! I'll definitely try the almond milk, I used to use it a long time ago when I had stomach issues. Frustratingly, my overall health improving due to finding good meds (I used to have terrible migraines and stomach issues to go along with my anxiety and depression) definitely has been a…

@wunderkindking Thank you so much for your advice! I agree it would probably not be so helpful if I start going nuts out of panic. I am cutting down alcohol already, but I had intended to do that anyway for non-weight related reasons. I'm doing the just tracking my normal food thing now, I've only logged my coffee and am…

I made this Baked Chicken with Artichokes recipe from Budget Bytes and it was super easy and amazing. Budget Bytes in general is just a great resource, recipes are consistently good/easy to follow.

I have this issue a lot. My go to for hot tea is Yogi Lemon Ginger, peppermint is also good, though I don't like it. But when I'm having a really bad time I usually buy the Kevita Lemon Ginger probiotic drink, it always helps me pretty quickly.

My go-tos are carrot sticks with hummus, pickles, and grapes or clementines. Also not really low calorie but really helps hold me over - half an avocado with hot sauce. I do that for breakfast sometimes too.

Hi! I'll add you!
