Currently playing Summoner's War. Was playing Heroes of Incredible Tales, but it got a little too time consuming. I was doing Pokemon Go as well, but my area doesn't get a lot of variety and gave up on it. Plus I started listening to books as I walked my dog and when I do that, it doesn't buzz me to let me know there's one…

I log strength workouts on Jefit, but am also on Fitbit. Am planning on getting back on Fitocracy as well. Add me if you like. :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/2GLQZQ https://www.fitocracy.com/profile/PikaKnight/

I tried the free trial but didn't like it. I found it didn't offer a lot of variety (especially ones that didn't have a lot of jumping around) and you'd have to pay separate for Yoga (and only if you have an iphone). If it doesn't work out for you, another training app that I've come across that is near perfect is the…

I'm 5'1 and really am more aiming for a body fat % goal of around 20%. With getting more consistent with weight training again, who knows what scale # that will end up being by the time I get to there. I'd be okay with a bigger scale # if I was still at that body fat %.

I joined Goodreads in 2009, but didn't really get into it until last year. If anyone is still active in here and wants to friend & compare reads, here's my link; https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/2486568-joy I read a lot, especially because it's my main source of entertainment and I do a lot of challenges :)

Hello there :) I'm a dumbbell user (with bodyweight and band exercises mixed in) because I don't have access to barbells. It's pretty easy to find db exercises to substitute with barbell ones. I'm currently starting in on Nia Shank's Beautiful Badass program and substitute dumbbell exercises in. @prettycunninghat - Look…

Just started playing GW2. So far, am liking it though I don't get on as much as I'd like.

Hi everyone, I'm Joy. :) I'm a returning MFP user. Had tried out other apps and then took an unplanned break and gained a bunch of weight back, so here to get back on track. I'm 34, a long time gamer, avid reader and looking to lose around 100-120lbs while also getting back into strength training. A big RP fan (whether…

That's where I've been going wrong! I need to stand up when I eat. :D

But..they are the same thing...

If that means no more periods, I call that an incentive. *lifts all the things*

There are conversion apps, of course, but I'm "lazy."

I don't mind using ounces. I do agree that it isn't so much of a huge difference that it'll break you . But I don't know about anyone else but a lot of things I tend to eat are weighed out more in grams over ounces. So for me, it's just easier to have a scale that does both, especially because I suck at math. :D

If you play Pokemon Go, can you still get away with walking for 2 hours? It's multitasking so I think that's totally productive...right?

So it's all us and not a single thing was you? Oh. I see.

MFP isn't solely comprised of those necessarily looking into body composition in the way you have worked to get. This isn't like BB.com or say Runner's World where you're targeting people who are all aiming for similar goals. This is an eclectic bunch with a large age range, physical capabilities, and varying goals. Where…

Pretty sure the first time I worked out I completely overdid it and then had to have my "1st day" all over again a few times before realizing that pacing one's self is perfectly fine.

"...stop walking on the treadmill for hours and hours..." "Doing the same exercises over and over again, day i and day out while at first you'll lose some weight, will only lead to a plateau and slow progression with your goals." Sure sounds like someone saying you have to follow my way. And I find it pretty condescending…

In short, this set out to try to compare HIIT with other exercises but the conclusion just really talks about the results of the tests. It doesn't really delve into the comparison of other exercises except in regards to (essentially) saying that HIIT takes less time than other exercises in regards to reaching certain…

I like where it says this: "Importantly, as some types of exercise are contraindicated in certain patient populations and HIIT is a complex concept for those unfamiliar to exercise, some patients may require specific assessment or instruction before commencing a HIIT program." Which is pretty much opposite of how the main…

LOL. I think it's funny how you think people are upset at the idea of working hard. Many of the people who commented have and do work hard and challenge themselves physically. Way to be consistent with painting everything and everyone with a broad brush though. Good job!
