That race sounds very cool!
-
I have no doubt you will do well! Keep to your game plan and enjoy the accomplishment.

Thank you! Didn’t think I could make it, but with the holiday time off, I’ve been able to run a bit more! Today is rest day after yesterday’s long run...although it really is a great day temp wise to run...but I must listen to the legs!

I hope everyone who was not feeling well get better! Also love reading about everyone’s running adventures! My news is that with today’s run I did run the year in km! 2046km to be exact! Also, ran 12.25 miles, my longest since my HM last fall. So pretty excited about that!

@Elise4270 and @shanaber Thank you! I will let you know once registered!

I’m in for 1000. I’ll get registered today. How do they know what team? Dumb question lol

7 miles on the dreadmill yesterday- rained all day and as mentioned before I don’t mind the rain if its not raining as I start, but starting in the rain, not so much. Today was a different day, sunny, and 50. Perfect. 5 miles. Now going to go ice skating (indoors - no outdoor ones here in NC lol) then back home to have…

This. Omg,I laughed as this happens often around here.

For short runs I don’t eat anything, just coffee and go, even 10k I didn’t. For long runs, yes, I’ll have something for sure, and a gel or some chews during. All depends on the person and what works for you. Try a few things. I’m still figuring it out lol
-
Thanks to both of you! Planning on signing up for one in the spring, so if I keep up with what I am doing , hopefully I will be ok. And the rest days before hand are a wise idea!
-
Same to you!
-
Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!
-
@mbaker566 love all your pups! Really great that you do this. And run. You rock.
-
Yes! That’s awesome! It seems we have pretty similar run schedules. I’ve run HM distance only twice, once in training which was by accident lol, and once in my one and only HM race. My long runs these days are 10-11 as well. I wonder if I could do hm now without “training” . Well done for just going out and doing it!
-
@shanaber sorry to hear about your knee..take it easy! Love those photos!

Rock Star!

Happy Holidays to all who celebrate and Happy Winter to those who don’t. I’ve been keeping up with my running routine, so far in Dec I have 102.8 miles, so goal met with a few days left...I think I’m very close to at least 2019 in km...have to check the numbers.. Everyone is doing so great. Hugs to those with injuries and…

@durhammfp well done! Great race report, and. PB! Now I feel I should have to meet you! I almost signed up for that one. Race13.1 has a similar one in Raleigh in November and spring time. I’ve run the American Tobacco Trail and love it. @Faebert glad it went well! Good luck with the recovery

Happy Birthday @shanaber and @scott6255!
-
ha I thought the same!

Did almost 7 miles today (6.91) Don't ask me why I didn't just make it 7 lol. Guess I was just wanting to get home.. Getting used to running in the cold (for me). Finally have figured out the right gear to wear to start at least (the gloves and hat do come of half way through). @quilteryoyo Read about your deer incident!…

Hello everyone, Dec Miles: Dec 1 3.7 Dec 2 5.10 Went kind of MIA for November. It was a crazy but fun month with lots of travel and in between getting work done. I did manage to make my monthly mile goal, plus some. So very happy with that despite not being here 3 weekends in a row! So for Dec, I will put up a goal of 100…

Hello from Zihuatanejo! I can't begin to describe how stunning this place is! I did get to do my @MobyCarp run. Do I have to upload or something? Here are some pics. It was already so hot and I started early just after sunrise. But it was beautiful!

Plans for 2020.. None so far. I do want to sign up for a few races. More than this year cause well now I have the bug. Maybe another HM (or 2) a couple 5K, a couple 10K, and a 10 miler. So aiming for 6+ races. I don't have a desire to run anything longer than HM. Maybe one day, never say never right? But for now, this is…
