Ugh. Sorry. But now you get to run, silver lining, lol

Yes! It’s too soon for this mess lol. Thank goodness we have our dreadmills, ha! Did I read your surgery was postponed? I think I did. Sorry about that. Has to be nerve wracking getting all psyched and ready to go through it and then have to wait. Glad you are able to run though!
-
Thanks, and yes! It was def a shock to the system. Looks like it was just a quick cold front, and should warm back up a little. I'm not ready!
-
Hi guys. I've been off for a bit, still running, still spinning. Just wasn't feeling chatty. I'm hoping November is a better month for me. Did meet October goal of 80 (88.something) so will keep the same for this month. It was 39F with feels like of 34 and winds 11MPH. So not ready for that, and hadn't gotten my cold…

@Camaramandy648 Thanks on the race. very true! And I got $35 in gift card to local sport shop. Time to go look at shoes. Your story yet again made me laugh. The going in the neighbors yard. Yeah don’t. Lol. Agree on the healthcare. So much so. I run in the mornings, if I don’t I won’t get it done. Was 52 here to start as…

Ugh I also hit done instead of post.n Cliff notes: Potatoes 7.5 treadmill miles (5K pr!) Place 1st overall female out of 4 haha on last virtual 10K Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Love you all. Hoping the blahs go away

Thinking of you. It will all be okay. You are in capable hands. Try to relax, which is easier said than done, I know.
-
Hi everyone. Haven’t been on for a bit. Still running and spinning. Have had some personal stuff going on so wasn’t on-line much. Have skimmed a bit. @quilteryoyo I’ve had several catherizations, you will do fine. Good luck and will be thinking of you. @Camaramandy648 Ill message you. @katharmonic lololol really needed…

Hi guys got my first run for October. A run walk for about 6 miles, it was nice weather and was nice to just enjoy it. @eleanorhawkins ooh that toe sounds painful. Glad it’s feeling better. @noblsheep yum fried chicken @Camaramandy648 lol, I wanna watch the crazy too 😆
-
@kristinajeang Adorable kids! And great completing your 5K! I too did the Dunder Mifflen. Loving the shirt. @kgirlhart Great run, great paces as well. So I think I miscalculated my last 10K. I didn't stop the watch after the distance. So I think actually it was more like 59:57. So not quite as good as I thought lol. Still,…

@skippygirlsmom Thanks for setting it up! Going to say 80 for this month. My usual 100 might not be doable now that I have added spin to my routine. Did 78 last month, due to hamstring issues, so 80 seems doable. Welcome to the new peeps!

@polskagirl01 Agree, looks creepy; don't think I would have gone in. Rest of the trail was nice! @shanaber Hard to hear about Hobbes. It's so hard when they get older. @quilteryoyo Glad your dad got VA @Scott6255 @kgirlhart Agree on the weather this morning! Should be like this year round. LOL. and @kgirlhart you are…

@polskagirl01 Sorry to hear that! I don’t understand people. Which reminded me of what I saw on today’s run. There is a part of the greenway that goes under a bridge which connects to a local park where A lot of people go to run walk bike whatever. It’s usually where I run too as I know a few people now (we wave etc) and…

Hi add me to the woefully behind and skimmed. Worked on cleaning up and throwing out stuff on the weekend. I feel like throwing everything away and starting over. SO MUCH CRAP. I just want minimal and simple and no more clutter. And it doesn't look like i made a dent. . Did get in a spin class though. Went running today -…
-
@quilteryoyo Sorry about the news :(. But yes I too would rather get it done sooner than later. I would just worry the whole 3 months - what does the PA think will change? @eleanorhawkins Hugs, girl. I do not like rain either. Light rain or misty ok. But RAINING? No. Not to run in for me lol. Which it is today. RAINING…

@mbaker566 @kgirlhart Hugs to both of you. Losing a parent (I lost my mom 10 years ago and still is hard at times) or a family member is heartbreaking. Much love as you get through this. Good luck to the racers! @Camaramandy648 Yeah cracked (pun intended) me up too about your egg fiasco. How long do we have to go though…

Guess what!? Hamstring did fine! Yay. Went for a run this morning 55F wow cool to start, but I warmed up pretty quick. Shorts and tshirt were good (was chilly the first 10 min though). 6.65 run, and .75 run/walk home. Was a good run. Felt good. Of course the temps helped and I'm sure the rest from running as well, maybe…
-
Yes same here - although I have lived in Toronto, I am now down in the south and 50's is def cool for me lol. Two spin classes and some core work. Hoping to test out the hamstring tomorrow..easy does it though.
-
I'm ok with this
-
Haha. That cracked me up
-
Yes to both these
-
@Camaramandy648 woohoo! @kristinajeang good news on the ankle! @noblsheep get some sleep! Omg I need min 8 lol As promised, I did not run. Was very tempted. So wanted to go. But. The hamstring feels a lot better. A day or two more as @MobyCarp says though. Did two spin classes and barre and core.
-
@polskagirl01 @ContraryMaryMary Great running, congrats! @skippysmom I have tried a compression sleeve with my calf when I injured that, not with the hamstring. Seems to be better today after a couple days of not running. Going to give it a couple more probably and see. Spinning yesterday, and today may actually try yoga.…
-
@eleanorhawkins Really do hope you can get to talk to him in some way. It must be hard all of this. I have rolled it in the beginning, but probably need to do some more. I have been doing stretch classes as well. I injured it on a run a couple weeks back on an interval as I took of for the run bit. Probably took off to…
-
@kgirlhart I am so so sorry. Condolences to you and your family. @eleanorhawkins Sorry about your day. Covid really has created more than it knows. I also could not go see my cousin when he was sick and passed - for the same reasons. @RunsOnEspresso Been there done that. @shanaber really glad the air quality is better!…
-
@polskagirl01 @RunsOnEspresso @Teresa502 @marisap2010 Thanks. It was a good run despite the pauses and it's too bad my stupid hamstring decided to complain. LOL. In a real race for sure pauses get added in. I'm pretty stoked though that I could get this time or close to it if i were injury free. So add me to the list of…
-
Yeah I know in a real race the pauses would be added to the time if I had them. Nope no awards haha. Just me! If it weren’t for the hamstring , I would have completed it with a decent time for me anyway! I’m pretty happy with it either way! Thanks 😎
-
Thanks a! I was a actually quite surprised at my time. But of course you are so right! I must not overdo it. Need to rest up the hamstring more I think.

Hugs and likes and prayers to everyone. Love this group!
