6.3 sweaty humid slow miles today. I decided to do run walk intervals. Each mile was negative split - except the last one which was mostly walking lol. It was only 71F but 96% humidity. We too have had rain for days and more tomorrow. I really am hoping for rain free weekend as well @janejellyroll ! All these hill repeats!…

@Teresa502 So sorry for your loss; it is quite heartbreaking to lose a pet. @PastorVincent I have done that before...hope the refurbs work out for you @Scott6255 Good news!! @janejellyroll Same kind of run here today; started raining about a mile in, then stopped, then light rain for the rest but the times it wasn't…

Hello all! It’s been over a week and a million posts so, I’ll just say well done and hugs to all. I’ve still been running, though last week was mostly all on the treadmill as it rained for 4 days straight, and will start raining again tonight for the next 3 days. Oh joy. I has signed up for the runtastic conquer covid…

@katharmonic So sorry for your loss as well. I do hope your family gets to get together somehow, it does help. I’m digging all the shoes! Envious! Time to go online shopping I think... Also curious about the various time slots for the trail run @janejellyroll I have done staggered starts in a race before so I get that, but…

Great job @kgirlhart ! Awesome run

I have a Garmin 245 and it does have the save and calibrate. When you click on that, it allows me to change the distance to match the treadmill. What it doesn't do, is change the split/lap times. All it does is change the overall distance. So the splits don't exactly match the time. Not sure what the purpose is then for…

Thank you all again. We had a family zoom call as a memorial service. It was really nice seeing everyone from around the globe (I have a very large extended family from Africa, to Canada to England, etc). Went for family bike ride and now waiting on dinner. Good day considering. Happy Mother’s Day

Thank you everyone. Means a lot.

Woke up this morning to the news that my uncle had just died. I can't begin to tell you the emotions that went through me. He is my dad's youngest brother, one of 10 siblings (my dad is the oldest son). He had just had a birthday last week - he was 62. I went for my long run and thought of him and the last I had seen him…

@shanaber Thanks for the shoe suggestion. I see that REI has them. Hopefully soon I can try them to see how they fit.
-
Great running @Avidkeo ! I too ran 2.23 today and then walked the rest to get to 5K. I usually don’t run on Fridays as it’s a rest day. But for this I had to.
-
@skippygirlsmom Loving the new family member! I'm at a computer all day too typing and sometimes I just can't anymore. Lol @Avidkeo It would drive me crazy if my Garmin did not work right considering what I paid. I would send it in, and use Strava for the time being or if you have an older watch/fitbit On shoes - because…

7 miles today, 2 w/u 3 10k pace 2 cd. Again cramps and had to stop. But got it done.
-
@PastorVincent So so sorry. @mbaker566 Wow! Fantastic effort completing the challenge. Not sure I could at all. @rheddmobile Much hugs, totally understand Got 5 miles today. Didn’t think I would as the during the first 1.5 miles I has such bad TOM cramps. Started out fine and felt good and thought maybe I should do a 5K…

Woot woot! Big congrats to @katharmonic ! Wow what an accomplishment, you are an inspiration! Love the selfie tour!

So May. Started with an intentional walk yesterday, which normally rest day. A friend really wanted(needed) to get out. So off we went. We did about 4+ miles. Today was long run of 10.5. @rheddmobile interestingly enough my left knee started feeling a bit sore at the last couple miles. Great I think, here is another…

@katharmonic You’ve got this! Look at you, only 3 more to go. We are with you running! Keep a go!

@kgirlhart Nice running and PR. Great pace and love the new shoes! @Faebert congrats! I do hear you on balance. I need to strength train too! Yes lots of good running and shoes and races and other things. Likes and hugs given all around. Managed to get my 5 Miles on the treadmill this morning. It was pouring rain, so yeah…

Hi! looks like for April I will finish at about 124 ish running miles if I get in my 5 miles tomorrow. That and about 12.5 intentional walking miles. So yay, I met goat! For May, the same 100 - stretch of 125. Thanks @Avidkeo

Foot pain still feels better, but it's there, does that make sense? Yesterday was speed work (about 5 total with wu/cd and today was 7 miles. The legs certainly were complaining a bit about the speed work yesterday. Was a much slower pace as a result. Started out 66F and ended at 74F so yeah the temp could also be a…

@Scott6255 Again I feel the same way. Have to gut it out. Or maybe try custom orthotic? I don’t know either. @Camaramandy648 Girl! You are only 3.39 miles away from your 500 Mile bib on RTE! Go get it! Eye of the Tiger!
-
@quilteryoyo Thanks, and yes it's pretty long for me too, the most I've ever done is 13.5 or so. I too find it harder to go slower and have to purposely (and mentally) make sure I do at times. @scott6255 That's really great that you don't have any symptoms! It's not PF it's on the ball/toes of the right foot. Possibly…

Hello! Update on my foot.. Went in last Wednesday and had a shot. The pain went from 8-10 to 3-5 lol. But I guess sometimes it takes awhile for the shot to take, especially because I can't help but have to walk on it. Anyway, went on a walk on Friday just to go easy, and then ran on Saturday. The first mile or so it was…
-
@rheddmobile @Elise4270 @PastorVincent Really hoping that’s what it is! Although the weight seems to be sticking around. Ok let’s go with muscles! 2nd shot is not looking to help me any lol.
-
You know, I briefly thought it could be that, but then didn't really think anything of it. I had a shot mid Feb. so it could be! But if it was water weight would it really last this long? Did your weight ever go back? Oh man, and now I'm getting another. UGH
-
Oh no, so sorry. Yes let us know if there is someway we can help. Lots of love to you.
-
I think you can! of course if the leg/knee starts hurting - Listen not hear, lol!
