I also go the sleeveless route, but since I built up my shoulders a lot my armpits get strangled sometimes.

I'll have to check that one out!

My new gym is a mile east from my house. My old gym was a mile west. I'm at the gym at 4:45 am, so I like it closer to home.

Check out Hollywood Undead. They might be up your alley then.

Google Hal Higdon and check out his half and marathon training plans (free).

Metal. Anything by Parkway Drive or Unearth works for me.

I've run up to 17 miles without any fuel (or water) and was fine. If you fuel and hydrate enough the rest of the time it's all good.

Running, Crossfit, power lifting, and yoga. Can't choose just one.

I can't eat before lifting or running or I will throw up. Been there, done that. I go at 4:45 am.

I wear my Fitbit Blaze one finger width above my wrist bone.

I second the Fitbit Blaze.

I haven't had that issue, but I've pooped myself on multiple occasions on long runs.

I'm still trying to figure that out myself. I can easily eat a 500 cal "snack" and still be hungry.

Black pants for sure.

I've been going to the gym consistently for quite a few years now but decided to switch to a different gym. I'm in really good shape and have a plan, but starting at the new gym this past Monday I was still terrified. I ended up doing my thing and everyone left me alone. I was nervous for nothing!

I personally love my Fitbit Blaze. My only negative is that it's not water resistant/waterproof. Otherwise, I like the look, ease of use, functionality, and relative accuracy.

It all depends on your goals and your coach. For general getting in shape, Crossfit can be really great. Just make sure the coaches are good--that they go through everything with you and at your pace. I used to do body building and then powerlifting, but I've been doing Crossfit for a few years now and definitely prefer it.

I really just like the look of the Blaze better. I had a Charge HR before the Blaze, and I still use that when I'm actually doing an OCR. I got the Blaze before the Charge 2 came out.

If they start making smart watches that look as nice as my Blaze, then maybe. I haven't been impressed by anything I've seen and I don't want the additional functionality.

I've had almost every iteration of Fitbit. I absolutely love my Fitbit Blaze. I run, lift, do Crossfit, and do yoga, and it works great for everything. Plus, I really like the way it looks. I'm not a fan of how any of the other activity trackers look.

Kinda sparse right now. There's one in April I wanted to do but you need a team of four and my team fell apart. I also am in charge of a kids' OCR in May. 05/07 - Denali Rock the Gauntlet (New Haven, CT) 09/23 - Rugged Maniac (Southwick, MA) 10/22 - Denali Run the Gauntlet (New Haven, CT)

I love Oxygen and Runners' World because I like to get both my lift and my run on! They're both solid publications.

I do obstacle racing, so my workouts are focused on the goal of doing well. I run, do crossfit, and do yoga. I'm never bored because I alternate between long, hill, and easy runs as well as speed intervals. Crossfit takes care of itself by never being the same. I need the yoga to stretch out my tight hammies. I used to do…

Not sure how active this group still is, but I've been ding OCRs since 2012. I only do 2-3 a year because of time and that $#!+ can get expensive! I also am the PTO chair of my kiddo's elementary school OCR that takes place every May. I live in New England, so overall have a shorter race season. This year I'm signed up for…

I completely agree with this. I do a combination of heavy lifting (squats, OHP, DL, and cleans), Crossfit, HIIT running and rowing, long runs, and yoga.
