@tishsmith101 i’m the same way! Except this month started early for me on eating like a maniac. I’m totally aware and am trying to reel it in but it’s like I have a hole in my stomach that just won’t fill. Hang in there, we’ll get through this!

Ahhh not a great week for me. I swear I’ve mindlessly binged for no good reason so I really need to get back on track this week. Honestly it has to be less sleep than normal that makes me think I’m ravenous. That and having junk in the house I shouldn’t have. I like the scorched earth plan from @baconslave. I may need to…

I too have been eating whatever is at hand this week as I help my husband get around after surgery. Fortunately I’ve kept up my workout routines to stay sane and energized even though sleep has been spotty. I’m hoping to do better food wise this week and get at or under calorie goals. I’ve maintained thus far this month.…

I can’t say the month is going great yet. I’ve done some stress eating in the last few days as my husband did hip replacement surgery yesterday. We aren’t getting much sleep so I’ll have to be careful on decisions for food. I took care of him through cancer treatment 10 years ago so this should be a breeze or so we hope!…

Still hanging in there doing the things. The scale goes up one day and down the next- such is my struggle for consistency. @mypinkbikini, we all feel you. I tell my husband that carbs beget more carbs. It’s hard to get off that train but the group is here to provide support (or even commiserate).

10/3 I’m still trying to get the leftover yummies out of the house from the weekend gathering but I did drop the water weight from the weekend. I’m looking to create a master food plan template to follow loosely by swapping out proteins and veggies based on my mood. That may keep me focused on calories and macro targets…

Ok I’m ready for October! I’ll be focused on keeping protein high (approximately 110g per day or higher) and carbs in check. I have done better with not snacking in the evenings so now I have to focus on those periods in the afternoon where I get bored. My calorie goal per day is 1500 or lower. Exercise is consistent so no…

To end the month I basically maintained, bouncing up and down on the scale but overall down a total of 5 pounds since August 1st. October will be an opportunity to do better!

Checking in- looks like I’ve maintained like a champ this month so maybe October will get the losses moving again? I’ve seen an increase in hunger this month for some reason and have over eaten a bit in the last few weeks so I need to get that back under control going into the new month. I’m considering meal planning so if…

I’m still bouncing on the scale and basically maintaining so I’m buckling down the next two weeks to see if I can get to my goal for the month. The weekend wasn’t kind as my street had an Oktoberfest party so plenty of carbs and drinks that day. I’ve been hungrier than usual and haven’t tried tactics to distract so it’s no…

@gsp90x I’m going the wrong way on the scale! I’ve gained a couple and seem to be holding. I swear getting past this hump feels impossible and I feel like this has been my set point weight. Like @baconslave, I seem to gain and lose the same pounds settling in around 135. I made it down to 120 a few years ago but it didn’t…

I know, right??? He’s been fairly good lately but there is a pretty consistent ask for Dairy Queen that I have been able to duck successfully. I’m still staying active but think I’m eating a bit more this past week than I have been so I need to ensure I don’t get tempted to snack during the day if I’m bored.

Checking in- no sign of loss yet this month but plenty of bouncing up and down. I did take measurements this week and have some non-scale victories there. I saw small losses in the arm, chest, waist and hips. I did a bit of snacking last night but for the most part have been doing fairly well with cutting it out when not…

I made it through the first football game and made off plan snacks for the guests. Of course I had too much and am battling water weight gain as a result. I had a few chips today but made much better choices and will be back to plan tomorrow. My activity is still fairly high, walking 4 miles a day and wrapping up my 90…

My challenge for September will be football season, hosting friends and having drinks. So to continue from August I’ll be counting calories, staying fairly low carb and watching the extracurricular snacking when not hungry.

I’m finishing the month off strong and have gained a new walking partner in my neighbor. While my pace has slowed for her and all the chatting we do, I’m enjoying the company. I’ll take measurements later this week but with my ups and downs this month I’m down a bit over 7 pounds. Now to shoot for that in September!

I’m still here making progress and had a flex day yesterday to join girlfriends out for a concert. I didn’t track calories and had several adult beverages leading to snacks in the wee hours. But it was a great time so while I take it easy today I’ll be back to plan and getting some needed rest!

If you lean toward a more sorbet or fruity craving, try frozen bananas and berries. The bananas become very smooth and sweetener isn’t really needed.

8/19-8/21 Looking to close out the weekend well. My husband and I have gone to one larger meal on the weekends midday and then grab something small if we get hungry in the evening. This seems to work well for both of us. I’ve stayed active with movement and NEAT but may take it easy the rest of the night. As of this…

8/17-8/18 I’m still doing my thing and am seeing some results. I went off the rails last night with some snacks but I can always pinpoint not eating enough earlier in the day. So today’s focus is ensuring I’m fueled to avoid that. Welcome @DLSTQ !

8/14-8/16 I had a few good days in a row when weekends are normally more difficult for me. But my saboteur is behaving himself and also cutting back on snacking so that influence is a big help. I’ve stayed pretty low carb, high protein and fueled up if I’ve needed it. NEAT is still good so hopefully it becomes habit over…

8/12 so yes, I was ravenous again yesterday and ate over my calorie goal but should have burned enough to balance things out. Doesn’t seem to work that way for me though. I went from being down nearly 5 pounds last week to being up 3 this week! Net, I supposed I’m still down overall but the swings are crazy. I know this…

8/11 well, I knew things seemed to be going too smoothly! Another tick up on the scale after eating at maintenance yesterday. I was great in the NEAT and movement department but felt like I could eat a horse. I had a steroid shot and 20 days of prednisone due to an allergic reaction so I’m wondering if that is affecting…

8/9 I’m trying to kick the week off right so NEAT was pretty good and I’m beating my move goals each day. Food is staying in check. I ate dinner last night a bit early and started getting the niggling in the back of my mind to have a snack. I pushed it aside a couple of times by checking my true hunger and knew I was fine.…

I’ve had a few good days in a row with movement, NEAT and calories in check. Today was more carby than I’d like but still within my calorie goal. I did eat back my exercise gains but was under most days last week. I’m feeling pretty good so hope to make this a streak! @lemurcat2 it sounds like you gave your baby a good…

Thanks @tishsmith101! The scale is slowly creeping down. I took some measurements this week and increased my bicep measurement by 1/4”, decreased waist and thigh by 1/4” each and 1/2” in the hips. So the progress is small but still progress. I have to remember I can’t outrun my fork so that is my focus this month. Believe…

8/3-8/4 I’ve had a couple of good days but needed a bit more protein today than I had. That’s left me with some rumbling in the stomach but the kitchen closes at 8 and I’m going to bed. No evening snacking this week so far and NEAT is up. I’m cranky tonight so hopefully some sleep will snap me out of it!

Be sure to review the launchpad- it has tons of articles to get you started. While it will feel overwhelming at first, you have to try different things to see what works best for you.

Day 2 went well for me. I got in 100g of protein that helped prevent me from snacking after dinner. I had another good NEAT day. I find if I can get workouts done fairly early, the rest of the day falls in place. All you newcomers, don’t be shy! Jump in and post your goals for the month. This is a supportive group. Just…

8/1 didn’t go as planned…I ate dinner a few hours later than usual which resulted in overeating with snacks at the end of the day. I know this is a challenge so need to stay on top of that when plans go sideways. I quit Noom as it wasn’t really doing it for me so I’ll be back to logging here, watching calories and macros…
