  • I weigh everything before cooking. When you cook it you mostly just evaluate the liquids, so all the calories are still there even though the food got smaller. 😎
  • I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to add to this thread except to say that all of your veggie pictures look sooo good! I've been on a serious veggie kick for a while now and can't get enough. Such low calories for a lot of food. In fact I haven't really eaten meat in over a month but I'm not vegetarian (I've been eating…
  • Whatever that is looks amazing!
  • What is the benefit or point of wanting to eat just one meal a day? Just curious. I'd die after the first day. Or kill everyone around me by afternoon, one or the other.
  • I have never even considered weighing a frozen Healthy Choice or similar frozen meal. Seems too obsessive to me. What difference is tiny variance going to make anyway? But one thing I do is....there is a HC meal that I like the food part but hate the sauce (onions, ick!). So I mark that meal down as .80 portion instead of…
  • I eat a lot of protein bars, they're one of my most recent obsessions. In fact I'm eating one as I write this, haha. The only time I weigh them is if I'm only going to eat half of one. I've found that they're only 2 or 3 grams off one direction or the other sometimes. And it seems a little obsessive to me to worry about…
  • Because of this thread I bought some of the syrup to try last night. It was surprisingly good. Much better than expected I should say. I'm sure it's not "good for you" and it's probably full of chemicals, but taste wise it's not bad at all.
  • Simple Truth Low Cow from Kroger is my favorite. It's as good or better than Halo Top and usually on sale so it's cheaper. And then of course I love Halo Top. 😍
  • This is the one I have and it's great! Ozeri ZK14-S Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, Elegant Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004164SRA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LHN3Cb52YWHGS
  • One pill is 200mg which is equal to two cups of coffee. I only take one and I compensate by reducing my coffee intake. My max caffeine is 300mg per day, sometimes 400mg.
  • I recently switched my exercise from evening to super duper early morning before work. Needless to say I need a boost to make that happen! I've been using these caffeine pills and they work great! (3-Pack) 200mg Caffeine Pills with 100mg L-Theanine for Energy, Focus and Clarity + MCT Oil from 100% Coconuts, Long-Lasting…
  • Yes. Walmart carries it.
  • Same here. I just discovered it recently and love it! I eat it several times a week for lunch with vegetables or Quorn Meatless Pieces.
  • That's my favorite too! I was just coming here to post that. Only 5 calories per serving is a beautiful thing. I use 4 tablespoons worth for only 10 calories....can't beat that! And it's delicious. https://www.skinnygirldressings.com/products/skinnygirl-raspberry-vinaigrette-salad-dressing/
  • Yes, I do every night! Either Kroger brand Low Cow or Halo Top. My favorite flavors are only 280 calories for the pint. You should see my freezer in the garage, lol. I stock up when they're on sale and eat one every single night.
  • I love flavored seltzer water and other than coffee that's pretty much all I drink. I used to drink Perrier and Lacroix but those got kind of expensive, so now I drink Kirkland brand from Costco and also the Kroger brand. Both are delicious and zero everything. Oh, and much much cheaper.
  • The ingredients list does show milk.
  • I buy them from Amazon, as apparently you can't get them at the Costco warehouse anyway. At least not at mine.
  • I just discovered these myself. I eat one before my morning exercise at 4am. Coffee just doesn't get the blood pumping fast enough on its own, lol. They're pretty good, seem healthy and the calories are tolerable as far as protein bars go.
  • I love snacking on sliced red bell peppers, sugar snap peas or baby carrots. The peppers are my favorite munch of choice.
  • Is there such a thing as too much? I've been eating over 65g per day. No issues but just curious if too much of a good thing is bad.
  • You could try taking Beano when you eat those foods. I eat a gigantic salad every night with all the key foods that cause these issues. I take a few Beanos with it and it really makes a difference.
  • Some of my top favorites are brussels sprouts (cooked almost black in a pan), artichokes, bell peppers, and sugar snap peas. I eat piles of these things every day. It helps balance out the pint of low calorie ice cream I also eat every night, lol.
  • I eat a huge salad every night plus a bowl of fruit. Yes that's a mixing bowl, lol.
