Me too. Dang it's frustrating.

"only lost 21"? 21 pounds is awesome!

You need to have a better understanding of the difference: http://www.youbeauty.com/nutrition/ask-a-scientist-sugar-in-fruit/

I hate to say it but I'm not sure how successful you'll be in your weight loss if you don't take responsibility for your weight gain and admit it's all on you. As others have said, it's no one else's responsibility to point out the obvious to you. Most people have too much decency to say anything to your face.

Mmm anti-cake agent.

Because they and their shareholders are making crap loads of money.

This for me too. Eight years ago I lost 40 lbs and was about 10 lbs from my goal weight. Then I gained it all back. I thought I'd gained it back plus 10 pounds or so. But now I've lost 40 lbs and I'm still 40 lbs from my goal weight. I've been fooling myself for years now thinking I hadn't gained back as much as I had. So…

I buy the Bolthouse dressings. The ranch version is only 30 calories a tbsp. I make sure not to use more than a tablespoon. Rather than add the dressing to the salad some people dip their fork in the dressing and then take a forkful of salad. I've done that before and it works well. That way you're not using a ton of…

First get an interview. If the interviewer says he or she will call your references then tell your boss. Don't say anything until that time.

I swear I'm smarter now after 37 pounds gone. My brain works so much faster and I can retain things better. What a fatty food fog I was in (I think I'm going to trademark that). Also more energy, like others have said. My house is cleaner.

These look good. I'm going to try them.

Rosie O'Donnell. I almost punched the person. I can't stand Rosie O'Donnell.

I have this up on my fridge: "You always have two choices when things begin to get tough: you can either overcome an obstacle and grow in the process or let it beat you. Humans are creatures of habit. If you quit when things get tough, it gets that much easier to quit the next time. On the other hand, if you force yourself…

I'm not expert at this stuff - who is? - but once my dietitian gave my my daily calorie goal - 1300 - I just started eating a good amount of protein, lots of veg, some fruit and left some calories for a treat. Made sure I weigh my food, logged it on MFP. I got some exercise everyday and that's it. Nothing unique and or…

Me too. I only log a 1 pound loss or more.
-
Dr. Oz supported this type of diet. That would have been my warning to turn and run away from it as fast as possible.
-
I would say yes. Usually if I'm hungry before I go to bed I'll have some yogurt or a half cup of Kefir. Others may differing opinions.
-
OK. Thank you for your help.
-
Words to live by. Thanks for the help.
-
No. It's actually starting to slow a bit.
-
It's logged automatically by Fitbit although I usually don't usually take credit for most of those calories as I think they're over inflated.
-
I lost 2.5 to 3 lbs a week for the first couple of months. It was fine. It's slowed down now.

I feel that no one over the age of six should wear tights as pants. That's a horrible look no matter how great your body.
-
Are you glad you did it?
-
You're right. It's not so much that I don't have a strong will, I'm just a bit scared. But it must be my decision ultimately.
-
Thank you. You're right. Ultimately it's my decision and I have to just trust myself.
-
Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it. I do feel stronger and stronger about my decision to do this without surgery. And you're right, I really don't want to be operated on. Thanks for your support.
-
That is something I could do, definitely. It just seems like lying and I would worry that I'm taking up space on the schedule for someone else who could have it.
-
You're right. There's so much more help available now than there was even 8 years ago. Thanks.
-
I appreciate hearing your perspective. It's what I'm really starting to think too.
