I have the shiritake noodles regularly and they're pretty good.

The thing is does this work for any guy? Do they actually have women stopping to chat and flirt? Why would anyone, man or woman, think this is appropriate?

Your husband would be so proud of you. You're amazing!

Honestly? I'd suggest you go to a therapist. It's the main thing that helped me finally start to lose weight. Understanding why I did the things I did, how the way I was raised (my parents were lovely, no blame) around food and my weird thinking about food. All of that really helped me change my outlook.

All of this for me.

"I read somewhere..." three of the most frightening words in the English language.

Sweetheart from Venezuela. I haven't heard that song in 40 years. Where it came from today I have no idea.

Dr. Oz is the cracker and I'm definitely intolerant of him.

Many of the Japanese internment camps had barely livable conditions. After taking all of their property the governments put them in slapped together camps where they froze in the winter and didn't always get enough food. They were humiliated and degraded. No, they weren't tortured and killed, but they had terrible lives in…

A couple of co-workers have told me I'm their inspiration for getting back in shape. I never expected to hear that I'm anyone's inspiration for anything.

You are my new hero. I'm 56 and have done well on weight loss (62 lbs) but now I need to tone up. I'll be keeping your success in mind.

I just buy a can of them and then freeze whatever's left over.

I knew someone who used to write "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes." Oy.

I'm sorry but your parents are jerks. They seem to enjoy causing you pain for some bizarre reason. Don't let them break you down. Accept that they're toxic and don't rise to the bait they throw at you. I would limit my visits to an hour and then leave. You're never going to change them so change the way you react to them.…

I'm so glad you're doing this at such a young age, Rachel. There's a whole world waiting for you to join it at a healthy weight. I'm 56 and have lost 56 lbs. I wish I'd been able to do it decades ago.

Fantastic work. You should be proud of yourself, you've achieved an amazing goal.

Uh huh. :/

The Luovo frozen meals are excellent. They're not with the usual frozen meals but farther down in the freezer section with the Amy's brand stuff (which I think always leaves an after taste). I always thought frozen dinners were off limits because of the salt content but my dietitian said as long as you stay under 500 mg…

I'd suggest you go to a bra specialty store to be measured and fit by people who know what they're doing. The first time I got a properly fitting bra it was like a religious experience! Angels were singing.

Unless you're talking about a having a bath.

Those are terms that I use for myself. Journey particularly. It works for me.

I hated high school and barely passed. But it's a completely different thing to go back to college by choice, by studying a program that's of interest to you, and paying the whole shot yourself. When it's your choice and motivation to be there, you tend to do better. At least that was true for me.

I guess. I feel like it should be required by law unless for a religious reason. So many lives could be saved.

I was in a program that would eventually lead to the surgery but I've lost most of the weight on my own. That doesn't mean I can't still have the surgery but I've found that with nutrition counselling and therapy (from the program), I feel more positive about losing weight and keeping it off than I ever have. Surgery can…

I bought a small bag of mini Twix bars on Monday. I thought to myself, "I'll eat seven and then freeze the rest." Yeah. No. Didn't happen. I can't have that stuff around! Next time I'll just get a Twix bar and be done with it.

Really? The loved one could save lives by donating an organ but you'd worry about what happens to their dead body? That seems odd to me. Who cares what happens to the body when they don't need it anymore.

I lost an average of 2-2.5 pounds a week and I'm fine.

Wow. You look fantastic!

Do you mean cocaine and plastic surgery? No.
