Isthat what's causing my headache?! I've recently gone off dairy and have had an unstoppable headache since the day after quitting. I'm so glad you mentioned this. Now at least I have an idea what's going on.

Alright here we go. It's Tues morning here. I've had a single shot of espresso with 1tsp xylitol. Next 1 T chicken broth to go with my B vitamins and my pain relievers. I think, weird as it sounds, I have a dairy withdrawal headache. Nothing will make it go away. I suppose a big gulp of cream would... sniff. Oh well! On to…

I'm consistently failing OMAD. I'm rededicating myself tomorrow. I'm going to post like crazy as I need some hand holding.

My coughing is already less gunky. It really was the dairy. I am happy and sad at the same time. Imagine no more Parmesan or cheesecake, ever. :'(

So if you've read my thread you know I got bronchitis in February. I still have it, to a lesser extent though. I'm trying an experiment with removing dairy to see if that helps. How have you tweaked your food? Gluten free? Low carb? High carb? Vegan? Local? What do you eat or not eat?
-
Thanks! I'm honoured that you read them actually. I'm just trying to emulate your success.

I had my one meal a bit early. 3 PM is my danger time. Got to come up with workarounds. Any suggestions?

I'm just outside of Palmerston North, in the lower north island of New Zealand. We're a couple hours north of Wellington. I'm jetlagged as hell, but NZ is a nice calm place to raise a family.

Ah! I detect another Southern Hemisphere resident. :) I'm so over winter and I missed out a whole month of it, so I oughtn't complain. You're in Brisbane? I lived there 5 years--best city on earth.

Day 2 a bit harder as it's cold and rainy. Jet lag must be improving, but still feeling really low. Just trying to get back on track. It will be nice when my husband gets home (he's still traveling for work). How are you all?
-
Day 1 (again!) done. Not perfect, but a good start. I'd do things differently next time, like prep my kid's after-school snack in a fed state, but I'm back fasting again and it feels good.

OMAD is a good time to whiten your teeth. The whole trays and gel aren't conducive to eating. ;)

Progress in pounds: starting--225. Current: 187 (a US size 12, I found out in July!). Goal: 165. Subject to revision.
-
I was _just_ looking at your progress pics. WOW.
-
Hi there. Checking in to see how you are.
-
Back again on OMAD today. The horrible semester is over and we're back from our monthlong trip to the US. Back in the OMAD saddle today. Starting weight (post baby, pre-any diet): 102.1 kg. Now 85 kg. Goal: 75 kg. Happy to be back.

Hi guys. I've fallen over and have gone off keto and started bingeing due to stress. I need help please. I need to get back on the OMAD wagon. I won't eat anymore today, but need accountability to help me with that. I'm a hot mess. Help!

Kicking kitten? Ha? Nice autocorrect keeping things wholesome.

Hi all. Still here, but I'm afraid I'm not the brightest ray of sunshine. Off all meds as of yesterday, but still coughing gunk up. 5 weeks of being sick. My new job... well, let's just say the daily tears are back. I'm stressed. What happy things can I say? My husband and son continue to be the best things ever. You guys…

That's so sweet @KetoKaHee. Yeah, still on antibiotics. Started intermittent fasting again today (16/8). Will do that the rest of the week. Then 18/6, then 20/4, and back to OMAD. Been a long process. Thanks so much for asking.

Hi guys. Still hanging on here. Still on Prednisone and antibiotics. Eating breakfast and dinner currently until Friday, when the Prednisone stops. Then watch me OMAD! Hubby is back home, thankfully, so I've got my partner in crime if something falls over when I'm teaching (e.g. Our kid getting sick or something) That's a…

@Mom2annie How gorgeous are you?! I covet that necklace and the dinner too. :)

Came home and ate lunch after all. Oops. Oh well, getting there. I'm so stressed about this job that I've been abusing food a bit. (Have a lot of bingeing my my past.) Haven't had any alcohol or caffeine though, so I'm holding steadfast in some things. I'm utterly grateful for all the support here. I am trying so hard…

On the lower dose of Prednisone and OMADing again. Last two days really stressful as I'm teaching again (been out of the classroom for 18 years) and my husband's away so I'm single parenting (all our relatives live 8,000 miles away). But I'm doing it today. Grateful I don't have to worry about lunch at work actually.
-
You can do it! I find it helpful to share here too. All of us are also doing this and can understand that some days are just hard. But I know you can hang in there. You're close now.
-
Thanks @blambo61. Feeling a bit down and overwhelmed today. I needed the encouragement. :)

Hi guys. Failing OMAD here. It's just impossible with the prednisone. Hunger is a side effect and it's awful. Only a few more days of the higher dose then a week at the lower dose. Going to go off plan until low dose and try again. Also, my Fitbit scale played a prank on me saying I'd lost 3 kg, when I gained one. So now…
-
Ew--after 3 days, morning eating does not work for me. If I eat in the morning, I'm hungry and back to snacking all day (prednisone contributes to this). Not working for me at all. I feel gross. So switching it up to a fat coffee (with cream, butter, or coconut oil) for breakfast with the prednisone and my normal OMAD…

Good for you! You can do this. Heck, you are doing it right now in the real world. We've got your back.

Ooh, I've got an idea. Go to YouTube and type in FitnessBlender. They're a couple of PT who have every conceivable home workout there, all free. (They do paid ones through the website, but hundreds free on YouTube.)
