I know it's been said over and over, but people's reactions are really weird and I never quite know what to say to people. Someone at work today asked me if I'm still eating, which seemed weird to me. It may have been out of concern, but if I'd truly stopped eating, I would have lost way more than the 20ish lbs I've lost…

Unfortunately, the cellulite has been hanging around for the most part. The good news is that it's seeming to move up my thighs, so it might go away eventually and it's only exposed now if I wear shorter shorts and not in normal skirts and dresses. Working out and running a lot has helped, but I'm definitely still more…

Updated pictures from this time around losing the last 30-35 lbs. The left is at about 172, the right is at about 154.

I finally weighed in UNDER my driver's license weight! Next up - 4 lbs until a healthy BMI!

I took my dog for a walk this evening and realized that now, when I look at my shadow as I walk, there's way more sunlight between my legs, even between my thighs! My biggest excitement about this as summer comes is the possibility of running in running shorts with less/minimal chafing.

Nobody told me how much I would want to buy *all* the clothes now, even though I really shouldn't. I had to go to the store today to get a new outfit for an event tonight. I tried on what I was planning on wearing, and I looked ridiculous because it was so big. Anyways, when I went to try things on, I wanted to buy…

Thank you!! It took me about a year to lose that 35 lbs and then I maintained for about a year before starting to lose again. I made a lot of little changes one at a time, and though it took longer, I think it helped to make it a maintainable loss. In that year I stopped drinking soda, learned how to cook, started planning…

I'm so close to a healthy BMI! Just 7 more pounds to go! As someone who already had a BMI of around 38 by the age of 15, this is a huge, huge deal for me! I'm hoping to hit this goal to coincide with my law school graduation a month from tomorrow.
-
You'll get there! My story has been somewhat similar, although slower and in much smaller chunks. I started at 225 then maintained at between 190-195 for a really long time (about 6 years), then slowly got down to 165, maintained between 165-170 for about a year, and now I'm 15 pounds into losing the very last 30 pounds. I…

I had to take about a week away from running because of back pain. I went out and ran 3 miles yesterday (finally!) and it felt glorious. I was so happy to be back at it. I used to be secretly happy if I had an excuse not to run, but I've made it so much a part of my life over the past couple of years that I really do get…

I gain about 6 lbs the day after my half. It all went away and then some in less than a week. I try not to weigh myself after runs longer than about 8 miles now, because I'll always gain about 4 lbs.
-
About 65-70 lb difference. It took forever and I've still got about 30 lbs to go but I'm on my way!

Ordered a small t-shirt thinking because the shirt was only being sold for a limited time and I figured I'd order it in a small so I could wear it later, after I'd hit my goal. Well, I tried it on, and it fits. Not like I'd only wear it in the house but I feel like I'm suffocating fits, but actually fits. I actually wore…

Your muscles retain water to recover after exercise. So I wouldn't be surprised if some of that is water weight from muscles in recovery. I gained (on the scale at least) 6 lbs (!) in one weekend after I ran a half marathon. It all went away in a couple of days. Alcohol can also make you bloated, which will cause more…

I just got to my mini goal of being in the 150s for my sister's bachelorette party this weekend! Next, looking to the 140s (and a healthy BMI!!!) when I graduate from law school at the end of May. After that, I'm running two Disney races (two course challenge) in November over Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend. I'd love…

I've been overweight pretty much my entire life (almost 230 at 14) and have slowly been chipping away at it over the past 10 years, mostly in spurts of 20-40 pounds then a couple years of maintaining. I always thought that once I got down to around a size 12, I'd be just fine. I thought being a 10, or anything less was…

This is exactly what I do. My activity level is set to sedentary and synced with my fitbit charge HR. I don't log exercise in MFP so I make sure I'm not double dipping and I've found fitbit calories are more accurate than the MFP exercise database.
-
I eat back all of my exercise calories most of the time and use a fitbit Charge HR to track them. I did a little math earlier today to see if the calories my fitbit said I burned were accurate. I added up all of the calories fitbit said I had left to eat for the day over the past six weeks that I've been using mfp and…

Congratulations! Fellow big Disney fan here - I'll be at the Wine and Dine too!
-
I'm planning on a 10k every month from now until November. In November I'm doing the two course challenge at the wine and dine half marathon weekend at Disney World. So I'll be taking on a 10k on Saturday morning and a half marathon on Sunday morning.
-
Finished my first half marathon on February 26th! Can't wait for another shot at it in November!

I have a couple from last weekend: 1. Went shopping for a new dress, tried it on and the lady who worked at the store said it looked great because I had amazing curves. I used to take that as an insult, but I realized she meant it as a complement as I now have a defined waist! I'm learning to not be so defensive and to not…

Mini goal is to be in the 150s by my sister's bachelorette party at the end of the month. About 5 pounds to go for that one. My next goal (and I can't believe it) is to be in the 140s in time for my graduation from law school at the end of May. As someone who started this journey 10 years ago at 225 and who lost and…

Bra sizing is the weirdest thing. I started at a 40B and am now a 36D. Apparently as the band size goes down, so does the cup size, which makes no sense to me at all. But I definitely had to learn that lesson over the past year or so.
-
I ran the princess half last weekend, it was a fantastic experience! Good luck to you!
-
I've had a charge HR for a year and a half, and I love having all of the data and being able to track my resting heart rate over time (and watch it go down!). However, I'm on my fourth charge HR because the band kept coming apart. Fitbit is really good about replacing them, but it's still a pain to have it break every 4…

Still working and just back to logging to kick the last 30lbs! First pictures at around 200 in the summer of 2014, second are from this week at about 165. Goal weight is 135 and I'm about 5'4.5"
