The advice I'm getting from my nutritionist is to avoid carbs later in the day. Once you are not active (basically done with the day...home) no fruits or high carb foods because carbs turn into sugar which turn into fat if not burned off through exercise. A few years back I lost 50 pounds in six months. Ultimately 2 pounds per week on a 1200 calorie a day count. But I did not really lose anything for abut two months. Then 6 pounds in a week. Then another 6 pounds in like two weeks. Then 2 per week. It just took my body time. It was holding onto the past!!
