I do Tae Kwon Do. Similar to others, my daughter has been at TKD since she was 7, she's now 15 and a red belt. I always wanted to do it too but didn't start up until last fall. I'm now a yellow belt, so...still very early in my progress. I'm loving it and my daughter is loving that she outranks me.

Me too!!! I was going to post this as my mini goal. Developed the same. I wasn't at the half-marathon length but I was doing 3+ miles on a very regular basis. I've been down a bit longer though. Doc thought it was more an ankle issue, really it was PF.

You know Lika, I thought joining a group meant finding one spot where we'd all converse. Do you know if that's the case here on MFP? Or is that something one would have to create with an already established group of friends? So far, it seems one has to go into individual friend's pages and speak with each, one at a time.

Aimee, it does take time to reverse the damage we have done. That's why it's so helpful and encouraging to acknowledge the small achievements. My first goal I'm setting for myself is to consistently log. So far so good!! Maybe set a small, achievable, stepping stone type goal for yourself?
