  • I'm a runner, but I also enjoy hiking and archery. That's great that you're going for a half marathon! I'm planning on running either a half or full marathon later this year. A couple pictures from a hike last fall:
  • My family makes fun of me for having so many running shoes. I have 3 pairs of my favorite trail shoe brand, Saucony (see my profile picture). I also have a few others for road and treadmill running. These are my Nike Zoom Structures:

  • I love almond butter. Healthy fats and fiber in one package!
  • I have oatmeal with a banana almost every morning. Usually I stir in some whey powder for a post-workout protein boost. It's really good topped with peanut butter or PB powder!
  • I want to try cycling soon, once I'm feeling a little stronger. I completely agree about needing exercise to stay sane!
  • Thank you! It's great to know that someone else has made it through and came back stronger. I know it's going to be a tough transition back into running. It really bothers me that my fitness level is going downhill... but I'm going to keep following my passion as soon as I can get back on the road.
