@Krysless2. Often easier (and better) to beg forgiveness than ask permission. In short if you can see where you can help, you are encouraged to take initiative. I, for one, am happy to help fix mistakes as people learn. This way TBL ends up with experienced help and can continue. This is also one of the contributing…

Username: craigo3154 March 11, Week 2 LW: 139.1 (63.1 kg) CW: 136.5 (61.9 kg) Thought it would be low, but not this low. Hard to say whether this is a good or a bad thing. Also received blood test results this morning. hbA1c was 5.2 (normal). Liver function normal, Kidney function normal, Thyroid function normal, only…

A saying from my past:

@am_change. Thank you. I do recognise my mental struggles will pass. I am trying to approach them with the growth mindset (thank you so much for posting that). A lot falls in the category of "I know this will help me even though it is difficult". "broken" was the expedient word in my post. Maybe could be replaced with…

March 10 Exercised: Yes (5km walk in 38 mins - hills) Tracked: Yes Budget: Yes Walk after dinner. Emotionally up and down day. @RangerRickL. The one thing I love about UAC is the support. This community keeps me going when, at times, I feel I cannot. UAC taught me the key to healthy habits that keep my physical health when…

March 10 Exercised: Yes (5km walk in 38 mins - hills) Tracked: Yes Budget: Yes Walk after dinner. Emotionally up and down day. I have been well under calorie budget the last few days. Along with being able to walk again, my daily weigh ins have been well down. Hope to post another loss tomorrow.

Krystal ( @Krysless2 ), I have made you a co-captain of TBBT and sent an invite to enable you to edit the spreadsheet. I am thankful for the help. I am sure Christine ( @cmhubbard92 ), Brandi ( @brandi_84 ) and Ashley ( @AB0215 ) are too. One note though: please only enter contestants weights on the sheet. There are 100's…

@am_change. HSP is an interesting concept. It shares a lot of traits with ASD (which is a recognised "disorder"). Both HSP and ASD are easily over-stimulated by the environment. HSP because the senses are usually dialed up, ASD because the filter on external stimulus is often dialed down. The main difference between HSP…

@Krysless2. I am happy to grant this request as long as Christine ( @cmhubbard92 ) and Brandi ( @brandi_84 ) agree. If either Christine or Brandi can affirm here (Captains Quarters), I will make the changes.

Intermittent rain for 2 days here so still not getting out to walk although no longer tired. Drone race exhibitions tomorrow and Sunday, but no drones working. Guess I will be showing people how to fix drones as I repair mine. :) Trying to get back into things.

Thank you @victorious55. Feeling even better after my first full nights sleep in over a week. Everyone is slightly different. What works for one, may not work for another. Just the main AD my doctor had success with for others did not work for me. Another has been discussed. Doctors prescribe. That is their main tool of…

@Keepingtrack1234. @looneycatblue. @AB0215. Was just PM'd by Metubal withdrawing from Gutbusters for this month due to personal circumstances. I have removed her from the spreadsheet.

Actually have a small problem with this and it depends on what the results of the blood tests are. There are 3 types of cholesterol LDL, HDL and Triglycerides. LDL is the "bad" cholesterol (in general) HDL is the "good" cholesterol (in general) Triglycerides are "free fats" If you have a low HDL, and a high LDL cholesterol…

March 4 Exercised: No Tracked: Yes Budget: Yes It's been a while since I posted. I was not up to walking today, but plan to get out tomorrow. @RangerRickL. Not too fond of garlic. But everything tastes better with either bacon or chocolate (but usually not both  ).

Username: craigo3154 March 4, Week 1 LW: 140.9 (63.9 kg) CW: 139.1 (63.1 kg) Been absent for a week. Really rough time. Feeling ill and disconnected for most of the week. Had not been out for a walk for a week. Just barely getting by. Weight results show the lack of capacity to eat and the feeling ill. Hopefully I can get…

Username: craigo3154 February 26, Week 4 LW: 141.1 (64.0 kg) CW: 140.9 (63.9 kg) Small loss, not as much as recorded over weekend. Started medication this week which is making me very tired (but also not feeling much like eating). Hopefully as my body adapts the fatigue will subside. Disappointed that I could not maintain…

@metubal. The suggestions from @Keepingtrack1234 are spot on. The top recommendations are:* Reduce nett carbohydrates (sugar, processes carbs with reduced fibre, etc..) as this will reduce the incoming blood sugars. (Atkins, Keto and low carb diets are good for this). * Some sort of intermittent fasting (like 12 hours of…
