  • There's something goes on behind the scene, don't you think so? The diary will be saved for 24 mo. only, this problem with the recipes is not being attended by IT. What it might be? Suspicious, very suspicious...
  • A lot of people have this problem lately and it seems that it appears periodically. i wish the management would check this situation more often because it makes this site not very usable for tracking
  • Thank again for your response. You don't have to send me the correct entry as I found it and it's my entry that I created 2 days ago
  • Thanks for this information. You're right: it became a pain to create a recipe. Sometimes I give up because it takes too much time to find the correct entry.
  • I will greatly appreciate you'll send me the exact description and nutritional values of your find. Thanks beforehand.
  • There is no data in the database for this product and therefore I can't add it to my recipe. I had tried to create a new entry and also to correct the existing one, but it is not showing in the database. To use something else will not do as I would cheat myself of either calories or micros. Any other suggestions? Thanks…
  • I have to get a colonoscopy - I'm due for it, but I'm not looking toward it. On the other note, my friends in Florida who I did not see for a year all happy to see me losing almost 50 lbs. I had got so many praises and made some photos and I'll tell you I look pretty good and feel great even though my last blood work was…
  • Good Morning everybody and Happy New Year. I just came home from my month-long stay in Florida and happy to say that I added only 4 lbs. So, I'm getting back to my boring routine: Swimming and water aerobics (I'm joking - I love, love, love swimming). Have a healthy, happy and productive 2020. Wow! I'll be 70 in 3 months.
  • Hi all and thanks AnnPT77 for the response. I had checked the link and was smiling all the time - people look so incredibly good after. I'm about done at this point even though I can lose another 20-30 lbs, but I want to maintain for a while. I want my current weight to stick. I started at 212 in Jan. and I'm 160 now @ my…
  • Good day, my dear friends. As of today, I have lost 52 lbs and I'm very proud of myself. I just wish my face would not go down with my weight. I know that's superficial, but I don't want to look old because I don't feel old (as I said before I'm 69). I've been searching the internet for natural collagen replacements such…
  • Thanks to all and thanks to MikePTY - you've got the answer to my question
  • Hi, everybody! I'm 69 and up to the last Jan. 1 was extremely overweight. Since then I had lost 45 lbs and didn't have a problem with motivation, but lately, I'm getting lazy and started to binge again. I lap swim for 1 hr and do water aerobics for 45 min for seniors 3x a week, but today I could not push myself to do the…
  • Please disregard previous- I've got the answer
  • Thanks everybody for a prompt response. I've got it - there's no easy way out
  • 60 min lap swimming followed by 50 min water aerobics. I'm 69 and lost 46 lbs. Hip, hip hooray to me!!!!!
  • Your body metabolizes fruit sugar differently than added sugar, so, do not be concerned about fruit sugar unless you have insulin resistance. There is a lot of info on this matter on the web including the one on MFP's blog from September 5: "Ask the RD: How Much Fruit Is Too Much?" I hope this helps
  • Thank you, friends. I was looking at Usda 05220 and found out that 05718 correlates a bit better because the sodium content is closer to the label. Big appreciation to all, especially to lemurcat2
  • Try adding hard-boiled egg whites with a touch of salt before snacking - it's very nutritious and kills appetite on the spot and very low in calories. Good luck!!!
  • There are a lot of reasons, but the truth of it - I LET MYSELF GO FOR AWHILE. Last year was horrible- I barely moved - it was either cold or hot, raining, snowing and so on and on and, the first time in my life I was disgusted with myself even though I always were fighting with my weight. I gave up on myself and I was…
  • I'm very boring. My breakfast is the same every day and forever (195 cal): oat bran with stevia and either ground flax or chia seeds and 1/2 of a medium banana. About 1 hr before I have a 6 oz cup of good coffee with 1% milk and 2 stevias. Somehow I never get tired of this breakfast and I always wonder why? Strange habit
  • I'm 4'11", 69, F and I don't eat my exercise calories back because I will never lose any weight. I'm doing 45 min of easy water aerobics and 60 min of lap swimming 3xweek and I'm on1260 cal/day 6x a week and 1800-2000 cal once a week. This regiment works for me. I can't eat more than 1260cals a day, otherwise, I'll…
  • Wow! I have the same situation, but I had decided to eat whatever I want without counting calories (I don't want to be upset and worse - be discouraged by knowing how much I ate) once a week. I do it on the day I weigh in (of course, after weighing in in the morning), so I have a whole week ahead of me to follow my plan…
  • Take PROBIOTIC before meals that might give you the bloating filling. I have this problem and I relieve it with probiotics.
  • I had posted this on different site a couple days ago and I'm still laughing: The best exercise in the world: 1) Turn your head right. 2) Turn your head left. 3) Repeat this every time somebody offers you food. LOL
  • It was meant 84g and not 84oz I believe. It's an honest mistake, but really wouldn't it be great to have such a healthy food at practically no calories? LOL
  • Some people are missing the point. The same package of the same food of the same product can't have different calories. If the shrimp is cooked, the only difference should be in Sodium, if no Sugar is added. The calories should be pretty much the same with slight variations, maybe, if the shrimp is wild caught or farm…
  • You are awesome!!! Great job!!!
  • The shrimps came in a package and if you'll Google it, you'll see that the same product has different caloric values. I understand Sodium, but Calories? Please check yourself: Wal-mart medium cooked deveined tail-on frozen shrimps.
  • had to run to emergency room - pain was unbearable, and immediate surgery same day.
  • I had tried that group, but found out that it's not for me - it's like listening music of wrong decade; it might be nice, but it's not yours, wrong music, wrong beat.
