I understand the want to add people who have been in your situation. Seeing someone who was where you are now and who was successful is some good motivation. But I don't understand the people who post on the very first day on MFP. It took me at least 3 months to post on the forums and I never wrote an "introduce yourself"…

Well because that doesn't make sense at all.

Does he know you're going to withdraw the money? Neither of you seem mature enough to handle an adult relationship. I cannot believe you are 29 years old.

I give that a big fat juicy no

I give this comment 1/3

10/10 me

That is the question.

I think you might have me mistaken for someone else. It's okay I forgive you.

Rent is oppressing me.

I can't afford it. I have rent to pay.

Your profile picture matches your reply perfectly.

I always say I'd love nothing more than to stay home and pop babies out and be taken care of but honestly I'd lose my mind. I need to make my own money, if I'm not making money I feel useless. Plus I'm a spender, I don't want to put that on anyone else lol If I want to make a stupid purchase then I can because I worked for…

Snored. No way.

Are you 12? Do people really do this?

LOLLLLLLLL

I've sent a lot of people to MFP and not one has actually used it for more than a day. Makes me wonder why I stayed... I wish I could give them what I had when I first started, whatever that was.

I definitely struggle with motivation and sticking to things too. Before I started losing weight I would make so many "meal plans" and workout plans, I would get overwhelmed and not even start them. The thing that worked for me was just starting. Buying a food scale and eating the same things just making sure I'm under my…

Tip: Expect it to take a long time so you're pleasantly surprised when it doesn't. Even if it takes a year or two to lose that 30lbs, a year is nothing! Clearly you know this, how fast did those 21 months go by? Look at making some new goals in the meantime. Whether fitness related or another aspect of your health you want…

This whole situation is my worst nightmare. 10/10 would lock myself in my home and never befriend anyone again.

I switched from smoking cigarettes to vaping. I've been smoking for 10 years and I never thought ME of all people would be able to put the cigarettes away. This is the biggest small change I could have ever made for myself. It's been 2 weeks and I feel so great already.

Beef jerky is only 240 cals for 80grams (sometimes less calories depends on the brand) and AT LEAST 30g protein. 180 grams raw boneless skinless chicken breast is 217 calories and 40g protein. There's 70g right there.

A calorie deficit. ETA because well that wasn't helpful: I've lost 82lbs. I have at least 20 more pounds to go. So at the end I will have lost 100+lbs. Don't over-complicate it. Buy a food scale, measure your portions, and eat what you want. Just stay under your calorie goal. That's it.

Just gonna keep quoting this.

It's fine. I'm 5'3" 148lbs also trying to get to around 130. I set my calories to 0.5lbs a week (1500cals a day) just so I know I can eat up to that and still lose at least 0.5lbs but I usually eat 1200-1300 calories. I'm completely sedentary.

I go over my protein every day. I love me some chicken and beef jerky

Idk where you've been looking but most people here are pretty lax. They usually recommend measuring every food to the gram if the person is complaining they're not losing any weight even tho they're doing bla bla and bla. Don't take the advice if you don't want it. Not a lot of people here recommend exercising for hours on…

A couple people did.

I can't eat breakfast. As soon as I start eating I want to keep eating so I grab a coffee in the morning and try to push it as long as I can. I don't know why you're so hungry. Maybe bring some celery with you to work so you can just keep snacking on it until lunch time.
