I've just done my last day on week 2 couch25k, I felt flat while doing it, think I'm still recovering from beach hike, but what a high once I'm done!! Lack of energy could be TOM which I started yesterday. I've read through everyone's posts, and one common thread is a lot of ladies on the group are caring for others, so…

@iloveeggnog I'm loving the couch25k!! I have one more day of week 2 which I will do tomorrow. I feel stronger already, I get up and do it at 5:30am the most perfect time. I'm excited to see how I fair in week 3! I even did a 7,5 beach hike yesterday, it was a walk for Cansa Charity, Omw it was hot and I have a blue…

I've only done strength…

@speyerj Glad, your air quality has improved so that you can get out again! You must have had an awesome shopping trip, all that hard work paying off, so encouraging to me! I went out at 6am for my last day of week 1 doing the couch25k programme, it was awesome, I finished with a long steady walk. Starting week 2 on…

@speyerj Whoo whoo Jane, what a fabulous photo of you <3 You are an inspiration to me, and your advice is spot on!

@catgirl2289 I use Lesley Sansone indoor walk videos on youtube when I can't walk outside, they are simple and u can decide how many miles you want to walk. Maybe start with 1mile and see what you think. I find the exercise is a huge motivator and all-round happy pill for me, honestly, six months ago I was so unfit and…

@aliciap0116 I'm so glad your husband is being released this afternoon, I'm sure he will recover quicker at home and all of you will be able to heal after this terrible accident and fright, take care of yourself xoxo

@katescurios Welcome to the group! You have lost quickly from August to now! It has been mentioned in this group before that the thing that keeps you going is discipline more than motivation because we all run out of steam eventually. So it's those days that you keep going when you really don't want to that will get you to…

@iloveeggnog Thanks for that, I was completely inspired and downloaded the couch25K podcast and headed out! I managed well, I actually did it! I decided to run on the grass so that my heels/knees wouldn't be pounding the tarmac and it definitely was a softer option, my heels felt fine! The only thing is I'm top heavy and…
-
@loveeggnog Well done on your loss! Ready to cheer you on when you reach onederland! I've just started looking into running. Although for me its really shuffling, in my head I'm running but in reality not! I've downloaded a podcast that starts wih 30 sec walk 30 sec run. I can do it at home no prob, but outside on the…

I've started my 7-month 30-day challenge. In the first 6 months, I lost 27.6 kgs/60.72…

@speyerj Fires are devastating, praying for rain in your State! I remember last year Australia suffered from those terrible bush fires for months, heartbreaking. You certainly had a good loss this week! My weigh-in is tomorrow and I'm in a panic for the first time in 6 months I've put on weight. Not because of eating, in…

@KeriA Your Brooks are really lovely, wishing you many happy healthy miles in them! Vietnamese food is such an unknown here but I love Asian food so I'm sure I would love the fresh taste! I've also been using my resistance bands, mainly for arms, just trying to develop a habit of using them first!
-
@MuttiNM I've just read your post, you have lost a phenomenal amount of weight, what an inspiration! Glad we don't need our weight on our license!! Imagine how many false numbers there must be!
-
@aliciap0116 I'm so sorry to read about the bike accident. I'm praying your husband's operation went well. Well done for not leaning on food to comfort you, but honestly just be kind to yourself no matter what you do or don't do!

I love Wanda u guys must have had an awesome trip!!

@PepperOni Welcome to the group! I've also been IF since 16 March and its working for me. I've read up a lot about the benefits. You have made the right choice to address your health issues, good look with your plan! @balaff Try breaking your steps up throughout your day, starting in the morning, being intentional works.…

I have 5 more days of my 6th 30-day challenge. Breaking this weight loss/health gain journey into small chunks is working! @wanderinglight…
-
@wanderinglight That's great to know we are not alone in our journey! Don't you think that as you get older it becomes more about health than being thin? I listened to a podcast on my walk, it described overeating as a chronic disease that we suffer from and that we will have to manage it for the rest of our lives, there's…

Downloaded a podcast and went for an hour long walk, it was invigorating, so thanks for the tip!
-
@iloveeggnog I loved your story and can so relate! I went to a spa last weekend and could easily use their smaller robe, 6 months ago I would have had to opt for the bigger one... which happens to be in a different colour!
-
@KeriA how did your interview go? Your month ahead sounds full already! Good luck with keeping to your weight loss goals x
-
@aliciap0116 Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! I have a similar goal to yours! turning 50 in June and follow all the comments avidly to get advice and encouragement and hopefully to help some ladies along their journey. I'm also doing IF 16/8 and counting calories, its helped me to be disciplined and to plan…
-
@eliezalot & @KeriA I've also suffered from heel pain for about 18months, it started after a holiday to New Zealand when from not walking at all I was walking over 20 000 steps a day and not wearing the right shoes! (slip ons) At the beginning of the year, I did the local park-run which is 5km, I limped the whole way, it…
-
@balaff I've been breaking my walks into 15 min HIT walks, I use various utube walkers. That gets met into 8000 steps a day if I do 3x 15min HIT and then just walking around. I live in a small cottage so honestly, it doesn't help with steps, I really have to make the time!
-
@pamiede I love seeing before and after shots! You are beautiful, and now look younger and stronger! What a journey you have been on, well done!

@RavenStCloud Thanks so much for launching our September thread. 🌺 September is start of Spring for us. Its been quite cold so I'm looking forward to warmer weather, our houses don't have double glazing, my place is tiled throughout and the window has to stay open for our cat, so it's very chilly, we walk around in many…
