Go for the small stuff, baby socks and baby hats, small baby blankets maybe. People buy them as baby shower gifts or whatnot and they are usually tiny. I used to do that for free for an organisation that tried to help parents in need by both giving it to them and selling the excess on markets to get other stuff they…

Even if it is 'just' oz not lbs, muscle weight is a rather bad approximation for strength. The whole point is that you can gain strength without gaining lots of muscle mass. Both through adding actual strength, a little more muscle and training your coordination / neural adaption. These things exist. Even people with…

You go girl! And please, definitely enjoy your holiday with all the nice food options (just walk them off sightseeing in between, works wonders), a bit of pampering and lots of happiness.

Something also dawned on me just now: While you used two scales to measure your current weight (which okay, adds significance) you did not do the same for the starting weight. That measurement might have been the wrong one in the first place. As in, too high. That happens. Sometimes my scale has a bad day, too.

Soooo jealous! I have been to algonquin two summers ago. We even met a black bear at the end of the trail. It was generally such a memorable experience!

I am so done today... But I fought bravely. :p The day at work was really unexpectedly stressful and still I am sitting here, slowly calming down and at least only failing a little.

I did not try to "understand" anything that you did not write yourself. As previously ask: What toxins? And also, you conveniently ignored that I referred to headaches AND sleeping 2-3 hours. 2-3 hours are not a "healthy midday nap". It is a sign of an exhausted body. You don't understand that I have been through this…

So you are tired enough to sleep 2-3 hours during the day and have headaches. You have starved yourself and lost water weight (while I still don't really believe it would be possible to lose that much even under those conditions). And you want to keep going? With headaches and passing out sleeping? I don't care if its keto…

Excuse me, I tried to follow this closely, but I am still not sure: what IS the correction? Omit the division by two? Sounds excessively high. Or just use the AMR as end result (sounds most reasonable, and would put this result close to what MFP got for OP).

I also have a pillow spray which includes lavender and a little roll-on stick with lavender oil. I have used them for bedtime for years and love it. I just wasn't too sure about literally eating the stuff. But it seems to work great. I had another this morning, I am not unusually tired (I expected it to somehow trigger…

No, I am in Germany. We do have the healthy nut butters in health stores. That might be part of the trauma, because my mum had a phase where she bought mixed healthy nut butter and tried to 'sell' it to little me as something like Nutella. I refused to eat it again after the first try. So for me, the unsweetened ones are…

Doing okay, I'd say. Today will be a challenge, as the TOM came around. 1) Go to gym three times. 0/3 2) Be a loving girlfriend. No fighting if I can avoid it. 1/7 3) Get into a more grateful mindset. Put aside some minutes a day to foster it. 0/7 4) Write something for thesis 1/5

I have to say something about the peanut butter thing... can someone please explain it to me? I hate very little foods, but peanut or almond butter I just can't stand. It tastes heavy and overly 'nutty' and a little... stale (?) to me. I have tried it over and over, because I thought if people love it so much, it must at…

Ask you fiance clearly to be on board. He probably wants to do good for you by bringing you sweets, so ask for something else instead. Whatever you like, flowers, healthy snacks. When you feel starving, eat high volume foods, vegetables, protein fluffs, whatever suits your taste. Don't force yourself into a rapid, radical…

Then do it without supplements and steroids, but keep track of your protein intake. As a vegan, you still might need some dietary supplements, though. (Generally, not because of strength training.)

@PrincesseAly23 You definitely need a big, big *hug*! I hope you can make up for this disaster with some nice days. I was finally good yesterday, like really did what I planned. Now it is the first morning after my "4-day mini-holiday at home" and I really could use more of this. I am actually very nervous about going back…

Nothing more to say than you definitely need a big *hug*!

I even have gone through a really bad time during this week and made it through to end it better than it started and much better than it was in the middle. So I go for full success this time. Yay! :)

My week goals: 1) Go to gym three times. 0/3 2) Be a loving girlfriend. No fighting if I can avoid it. 0/7 3) Get into a more grateful mindset. Put aside some minutes a day to foster it. 0/7 4) Write something for thesis 0/5

1) What about food addicted? There are very similar biochemical 'reward' reactions for people with eating disorders after a binge than for drug addicts after a fix or gaming addicts after gaining a level. 2) No. Sure. Nobody said that. 3) As @jdlobb said, debatable. Where I live, there are rules for the maximal age of…

@Bex953172 I think that is incredibly impressive how you deal with this. I don't think a lot of people would be able to. I am so much better today, as my communication with bf improved tremendously since yesterday afternoon. I know why I love him. I even woke up with that cosy-comfy feeling I normally only get when waking…

If I were in your place I would call handling another day progress. I don't know how long you have been on dialysis, so maybe wait it out for a while to see how your body reacts in general. And don't be shy to ask the doctors and nurses for information about EVERYTHING.

So see, I started with nearly the same stats. It took me 10 months to get from 63 to 52 kg. And there were times where I was eating unhealthily little, due to emotional reasons and stress. The lower your weight is, the lower the amount you will be losing is. And the smaller is the deficit you can safely have. Even if a…

a) You should not be in a 700 cal diet. Other than in very rare cases, that is much much less than your body needs to function normally. b) There is a general guideline that you should not lose more than 1% of your body weight in a week. So lets say (for easier calculation) you lost 2 kgs in two weeks, that means 1 kg per…

It was off before, I thought it was getting better after that one call. But then he seemed so cold. I am just not sure right now, but I love him. We have been together for nearly 2 years and often been very close during that time, so it felt like 'more' than just that. I am still not sure. I might have panicked for nothing…

No plans for today. I hope so much for one short call, a bit of normality. Or comments in the chat. Anything that does not feel like it's over. Sorry for being so negative during the last week. :(

Did I check in yesterday evening? I am not sure I did. I had a nice day in the beginning, actually spend quite some time cleaning and doing other housework, but still relaxed a whole lot. Then I had a calm an interesting chat with my boyfriend where I thought he is slowly acknowledging the problems we have and that we…

I define two different types of cravings for this. There are the 'specific cravings' that are usually based on boredom, availability and wanting to indulge in a specific taste. Those I try not to give in to, because they just lead to overeating of the wrong things. Then there are the 'complicated cravings', where I get the…

Thank you. :) I ended up being so bored from relaxation after changing to the couch that I cleaned half the flat, did some laundry and did my nails. Still relaxed a lot in between and only ever got up when I really wanted to do something. I think I will do exactly the same for the next three days, other than going to the…
