I get the Ben and Jerry's froyo and usually end up eating the whole pint so it's around 20 grams of protein and 12 grams of fat. Like I said as well I make sure I get enough protein and nutritious food the rest of the day when I do this so I feel fine.

Yeah I carry a good chunk of my weight on my bottom half. It definitely evened out more as I reached my goal but it is still like that. Once someone called me a "wooty" and I had to look up what that meant and apparently it stands for "white girl with a booty" *facepalm*

When I do this it's usually ice cream which for me has enough fat and protein to keep me satisfied. Plus my other meals when I do this tend to be nutritionally balanced with a good amount of fiber and protein so I don't feel lacking in any way.

Well now that you mention it ice cream is on the menu for dinner tonight! I'm torn between Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie and half baked half twisted. Help me decide!

Lots of great suggestions here. I just wanted to add something that helps me when the desk time munchies hit is sipping on a 0 or low calories beverage with flavor (aka not plain water) but some diet soda, plain hot or iced tea, crystal light, etc.

Go under cardio and search for "strength training" it won't give you many calories but definitely some! The weight training section is really only for record keeping of reps and such. Edit :typos

Can you return them? If not there won't be any harm to finishing them just no benefits either. But yes focus on a reasonable calorie deficit instead. use the MFP guided set up to get a calorie goal. Don't worry too much either I feel like most of us have fallen for some sort of diet woo at some point.

Did you use the MFP guided set up? 1400 sounds low for 301 pounds. Plug your stats into MFP, select a weight loss goal, and start with the number it gives you. For perspective I am 140 5'5" to lose half a pound a week I get 1450 calories.

I have tried the slim fast brand and they (at least their chocolate flavor) has a weird aftertaste. I recently tried Premier Protein (again in Chocolate) and those were much tastier and cheaper!

I have used both and prefer MFP. Fitbit had a weird system for calculating your daily allowance I didn't understand. It would tell me I was over (in the red zone) for daily calories but then tell me I had "X" calories left for they day at the same time and I was never really sure why. They probably got that from Dr Oz, my mom called me and told me she saw a segment that he did where you take a shot of ACV after eating a doughnut and you won't absorb the calories or sugar from the doughnut. :( sigh some people will believe anything that man says.

How much water are you drinking? The reason I ask is because there was a time I drank too much water and ended up passing out from flushing out my own electrolytes. I also had horrendous headaches at this time as well. Try drinking some Gatorade or eating something salty like broth.
