Just log it and move on. Don't waste any time or energy on worrying about what you have already consumed in the past. It happens. Focus on winning the war (achieving and maintaining a long term healthy weight, exercise, and nutrition), not the battle (one dinner once in a blue moon). Just keep weighing and logging... from…

Hi You have a good routine with the exercise and food logging. Keep going. Do not be discouraged, because you have a routine that is maintaining your weight and the exercise must be increasing or at least maintaining your fitness and strength. You have a support team (doctor/trainer/nutritionist) which is great. But at the…

You can do it. And really you don't need much time for meal prep at all. You don't need fancy meals, you need a moderate amount of healthy food. You must weigh your food and log it in mfp every single day. Weigh yourself regularly and log that too. Create good habits now that will serve you well in the future and allow you…

I like all dairy foods. I think you should move on to a deep appreciation of all cheeses. However only have a tiny sliver of each, and be sure to weigh and log in mfp.

I also have a 1200 (5021 kj) goal. My diary is open to mfp friends. Sending a friend request. I think the key is including food that is fairly filling - protein and vegetables, and getting some exercise every day

Thank you! Dogs are great. Good luck.

Hi Add me if you wish. I just changed the settings to allow MFP friends to see my food diary (and wonder if the act of doing so will help change what I eat? Hmm). Good luck.

Hi All the best with reaching your goal. Keep logging and weighing no matter what. If you have a bad day, just start fresh from the very next meal and don't waste your energy and time feeling bad about it. Your goal should include keeping the weight off once you have lost the weight. If you find something is not working…

Good luck Nate! You can do it, because many others have. Keep weighing food every day and yourself every few days at least, and logging daily. Aim for steady progress but also plan now how you are going to maintain the new you. Also, much as you are doing this to re-woo your wife and family, you will also achieve a massive…

Hi. You may also not be getting enough sleep and that is contributing to your exhaustion. Try getting an extra 1/2 hour sleep each week night (or napping or resting quietly in the dark) will do if you have trouble unwinding) and see if that helps. Good luck.

Feel free to add me! Also, weigh and log everything

Hi. I have rejoined MFP as a few kg sneaked back on when I wasn't weighing and logging. However I stand by weighing and logging absolutely everything. It works. Don't cheat just add everything in, even if it is over. Slow and steady is the way to go for the long term. Some ideas re dinner parties and restaurants: Accept…

Yes stay safe! Also - you can do it. Suggest you give yourself a set time to achieve your goal, and also make a commitment to maintain the loss and be no more than 185 in a year's time. You can be lazy... but you won't be fat! I say this as I've just rejoined MFP. Stopped weighing myself and my food and stopped logging.…

Yes same! Here for 2nd time. Fortunately I have only a few kg to lose. I have decided I will keep logging in the maintenance stage so it does not happen again. Learnt my lesson. I will be a dedicated logger. Good luck.

Hi Feel free to add me. I am here for the 2nd time. I had stopped weighing and logging. So I am determined now to make sure I lose the extra kgs and then maintain the loss. Just keep logging and weighing. If you have a day where you go over your goal for whatever reason don't worry yourself about it. Just start again from…

Yes! I am sure there are many of us here! MFP makes it easy to keep track. But this is my 2nd time here as I stopped weighing and logging. Now I have decided to lose the few kgs and then keep weighing and logging to maintain the loss. Good luck with reaching your goal.

Of all places - from a coffee cart at Sydney Kingsford Smith airport, it was sometime during 1999 or 2000. Magic! Source of beans unknown. At home I use a Bialetti moka express on the stove and a Breville milk cafe frother. Works just fine with the Aldi organic ground coffee.

Good luck! Weigh everything and log in MFP before eating - it works!

Hi I support amtyrell's good advice 100%. I would add read any nutrition labels on food before buying. I have added onto my kg goal... 'and keep it off for 2 years' as I've just rejoined MFP as I am a few kgs heavier after stopping the logging and weighing. I have learned my lesson now and have about 3.5 kg to lose and…

Hi - Click on 'community' then 'find members' then enter a username and click search. Then 'add as friend'. Just trying this myself!

Hi! I've just rejoined too. Add me if you wish.
