Got a bike ride in this evening, and it wasn't too hot/humid outside and didn't rain. Oh, and they moved the weigh-in time up to 0900 tomorrow morning. :)

Very true! 25 hrs to go, and I'm done with this challenge! I'm telling my trainer that once I weigh-in, for the next 24 hours I'm eating WtF I want and I'm not logging it.

That's the best part! My blood work and physical stats weren't bad last year. But, I'm really looking forward to having both physicals (personal and work) done and see the results.

Then you'll probably not want to eat with me. I'm a clean eater, don't like messes and is generally why I avoid much the same foods as you: bone-in wings, corn on the cob, ribs, etc. But, I have generally been a fast eater because I think the act of eating (food prep, sitting down to eat, etc) is simply a waste of time…

Awesome!!! You look great!!

Relatively. ;) Here's the video that started it.. https://youtu.be/incSwssUyp4

Waiting for my salmon to finish cooking. Then, off to the gym in a couple hours.

Ahh, okay. Thanks for the rundown on the phases. I guess I don't see them so much as phases, just more of a natural progression from one to the next. Keeps it simple, and not over thinking anything. Which is where I tend to lose it and go sideways. Post up progress pics if you feel up to it. Sometimes the accountability is…

I'm not sure what you mean about phases? I'm in a weight loss challenge with some guys I work with, that started on April 1 and our final weigh-in is July 1. Prior to this, I was kind of active, hit the gym a few times a month. Ate a lot of convenience food, and high sugar But, really wasn't serious until the challenge…

Agreed. I still open a door for others, try to smile and say "Hello" to people. Say "Sir" or "Ma'am" in specific situations, etc. Nothing showing respect and courtesy, not only to someone you are or may be involved with, but others as well. The interesting part about all of it though, is that some of the more nostalgiac…

$5.99/min charged discreetly to his CC?

Thank you. I know other forums have the capability. Just wasn't sure if the MFP platform allowed for it as well.
-
Thanks. But, there's a lot of fat still covering them that needs to go. I could lose another 40 and they'll hopefully start to show. Dedication, and not wanting to lose abet is good motivation. ;)
-
I suppose MFP's glorious forum capabilities don't allow to merge threads?

Friend of mine has amazing abs, even when she doesn't prep for a show. I am working on getting mine, and certainly not easy or without aggravation. :P Edited for typos

Should switch over to using your other arm. Would alleviate the pain from repetetive motion...
-
I've recently switched over to Evogen. They have a couple of fat-loss supps that are caffeine free, and I believe their EVP pre-workout is as well.

Easier? No, not necessarily. But, how we view things can make it a little less painful on ourselves. As you said, the world needs more positive influence. The best place for that to happen is within ourselves. Yeah, we might be in the shittiest, most *kitten* up time in our lives. But, why dread over it? Look for the…

Not preachy at all. We all face dark times at various points in our life. Sometimes, we can overcome them ourselves. Other times, it's a phone call that saves us from our predicament (or ourselves). Props to you, and anyone else, who works to better themselves!

What she said! Do it!

That's awesome! Great perspective, and outlook on life.

Only works when on iPhone and browser. The Android app doesn't allow you do do direct attach to thread posts.

You posted this thread. Had you of done a quick search, you'd have found that there's already one that exists. Usually if there's a thread such as mom-bod, or similar, there's an existing one for the opposite sex as well. Just like the yoga pants thread, there's a suits thread.

A little searching will do a poster good... https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10647608/dad-bod-thread/p1

Some of us really can be on our best behavior...

Hmm... I was set on having a bacon cheeseburger after I'm dont with this challenge. But, now I'm really thinking of having pizza since it's been quite a while...

Honestly, the most eco-friendly thing you can do is declutter. Sell what you can, donate what you can't. Pitch the rest in the trash. People hang onto too much crap requiring bigger homes, wasted resources to maintain such a home, or put into storage therefore paying monthly fees to store things you'll likely never look at…

Best to you, and completely understandable with all that's happened. Come back whenever you're ready.
