Haven't heard from anyone for a few days. What has everyone been up to? I hope keeping up with logging in and exercising!
-
It seems as everyone is keeping strong with their exercises. Way to go!! Love your creativity Sukes, in your meal planning.

Lenny, I coukd not figure out how to add you as a friend. If you have figured it out you can add me if you like.
-
We have to keep reminding us that, so there are no chances of going back!

Isn't wonderful how our house starts looking cleaner so we can keep our mind off the food! I woke up early and took my dog for a walk, clean the house, etc. Somehow I have more energy tha n I ever had plus ever slightly tired!

Oh, I forgot the main reason I read this post......Diet is a four letter word, but MFP is all about a lifestyle change not diet. Eat whatever you want just record it down and try to stick within the calorie guidelines. 100% drinking the goal amount of water really helps.

That totally sounds like me. If I fix something I get to binging/out of control eating until it's finished. I had the intention of making it and storing the food in proportionate tupperware for later. It's like it calls my name 1/2 hour later and I eat the little tub. 1 hour later the other...and so on. That feeling drives…

What gets me is that I binge. So I had bought raspberry rolls for my husband. Turned out it was too sugary for him. So I had to (my mentality) finish it over a course of 3 days. Needless to say, I could have been eating good food and putting it in the diary rather than just days of raspberry rolls. lol My husband states it…

I'm taking baby steps at a time. I had started a group in the past...which is still there, but I deleted everyone because nobody every responded. But on one section, I posted before/after pics. I took my picture for this attempt and now six days later I took it again. My pic looks different, so then I had the gumption to…

Six days of being on MFP.

I have an ideal of 51 pounds to lose. I'm on my second real attempt and hopefully the last because this is a "lifestyle" (it really is) change.

Salads work wonders. If you buy the lettuce, onions, tomatoes, boiled egg, celery, carrot strings, green pepper (or whatever else) at one time. And then spend 1/2 hour shredding and dicing. It will store nicely in different tupperware. Then each morning just throw together a quick salad with a simple vinegrette and it will…

It's never too late. I call it back sliding and guilt brings me forward!
-
Thanks for your support Sukes..and the gentle reminder.
-
It's funny how a lot of people have been through similar circumstances and starting over.
-
Don't look back, only forward!

I am not sure how long your first episode lasted, but mine was a strong 3 weeks. I lost 14 pounds and then took a holiday. When I came back, I was depressed and let myself go. Now I feel as if I hit rock bottom and want to go up. Last time I would have said determined to go back up, but I don't want to gun-ho myself for a…

"Jam" Sometimes being in our own little bubble we forget that this program does circle the world. My bad and hats off to you. Somehow even your British accent comes through your words. Lol.
-
Sorry Glassyo for getting your hopes up high. Cookie time hasn't arrived yet, but getting back to shed the pounds are!

Kirsty....This is happened to me too at 4am today. I wonder if Hurricane Florence has impacted our conscience??? Hmmm. You can add me as a friend if you like, I certainly need a diet pal or as they call it a pal for the "lifetime changes or was it lifestyle changes".
-
Glad to see, Jam that I am not the only one at 4 am looking for some support. Reading this post it seems that everyone is supportive and it looks as if both of us need it! lol

Read your beginning post, Jill. I felt as if I am in the same situation. About a month ago, I twisted my ankle while walking the dog. I can walk on it now, but it still hurts. If I don't walk the dog nobody else does, so my pup is just waiting for me to say, "Let's go". Later on today, I feel today is the day. If I don't…

Well, after all the reminiscing about Girl Scout Cookies in March, I have come back to MFP to try once again and make the life style changes. Lord help me on this and your support might bring me around. On this final note, I don't think I will ever buy a box for myself, because I know me! I will maybe instead buy the box…

I bought a box of those as well, thinking it would be a less cal decision. However, their taste went downhill. So I think their recipe was changed or like the above person stated there are two different places they are made??
-
I see what you mean about the protein. Surprisingly, they have about 10 times more sodium than sugar. I wouldn't have imagined that.

Now at highest weight:(
