@sarjenki my jade mat had the rubber tire smell for a few weeks but it went away fairly quickly.

I agree with amymoreorless that Jade mats are the best no slip mats. I've had mine 5 years and it still gets the job done.

I practice Hatha 3 times a week and Yin twice a week usually at my favorite studio, sometimes at home.

In addition to reducing sodium my doctor recommended increasing my potassium level. Trying to do that will ensure that you eat a healthier diet. Good luck!

I agree @alicebhsia getting on bp meds that work and don't have serious side affects can be a challenge.

Male 69, been here just over a month. I walk and do yoga. Focusing on logging everyday and enjoying the journey.

I'm 69 years old and have lost 36lbs in the past 12 months. It's certainly more of a challenge when you're older but it can be done. I weight and log EVERYTHING I eat. Until I started doing that I didn't realize how much I was eating. I also walk 3-5 miles 5 days a week.
