I've been doing better than expected this week. For May my limit is 5 a night, sounds like a lot. Anyway, I am stopping at 4 most nights. Since I was drinking double that last year, I'm feeling pretty good about it.

I'm in again, by the way. I'm babysitting this month so my goal is lower. Kind of feels like cheating, cuz there's no choice.

My husband switched to half n half (caffeine/decaf). He really likes it.

AF last night! My goal was to go AF one night in April and I actually did it! I slept like crap, but putting that down to the couch.

I'm all ready for my flight tomorrow am. Supposed to be in bed, and will be soon. Have been too excited to sleep. Seeing the grandkids tomorrow! Have to be up in 4 1/2 hrs. Drinking water now but drank more beer than I wanted to tonight. I won't be hungover but still...

I completely understand. I think we all have family members like that, just no one really talks about it. If I haven't seen them, other than funerals, for 20 or 30 years, I don't know them. You are better off, and I would count that as decluttering. Congratulations!

I've gone through all of my clothes and the file cabinet. When I get back home in June, I will be going through my kitchen. I heard that soup kitchens will take pots, pans, and the like, so I'm hoping to donate there.

I also work from home, and my trigger was sitting down talking to hubby about our day. We'd open our beers and my drinking began. Babysitting the grandkids for a month helps. But in reality, only for a while. I have pushed my start drinking time to later, and find that if I'm full and knitting or crocheting I drink less.…

No offense taken! I'm roller coastering myself, kinda...mostly down. I'll be babysitting grandkids all of May, so that forces me back on track. Hope things calm down a bit for you. Don't ever give up. We are here XO

Had a busy weekend. Getting packed for my month at my daughter's! My SIL is going on his annual tour of duty and I go up to babysit since my daughter works 3rd shift. Hubby will come up for the last week, then we drive home.

Last night I decided to add AF beer to my evening. I drank 4, then switched to my regular brand (my plan). While it wasn't a news breaking event, I did drink less than my daily goal. I think next time I will start with my beer and switch after a set number. Victory. :)

You've got this! Especially with the support of good friends! You don't have to drink to impress your coworkers, and not drinking at the art show will be a validation that your friends have always been right about you. You are worth it!

I like Alpine spiced apple cider. Pre-mixed packets, just add hot water. I also add cinnamon. They are only 90 calories. Just a thought cuz water gets boring. :)

Here I am, at 1am, watching tonight's recorded hockey game and I just poured a glass of water, at my drink limit. Had a hard time doing that in March!
