I loooove sushi! My favorites are the Sunday Morning roll which is pretty unhealthy as it is deep fried...and the sweet potato roll. Last year I ate sushi way too often....so my sushi craze has died down quite a bit since then.

I was on abilify for two years and it did increase my appetite a lot which caused me to eat more hence gain weight. I have since switched to Latuda which still has the same effect on my appetite but I am weighing my food and tracking my calories and so far have lost 60 lbs in 15 months so it's possible to lose weight on…

I get really bad sugar cravings the week before my period as well. During this time I fit sweets into my daily calorie allotment and go about my days normally.

I totally understand where you're coming from! I also have come across posts with people either at a weight which is underweight for their height or are aiming for one and they are still rooted on by the reddit users! A lot of people defending their stance and its infuriating. I did not consider the potential ages of the…

Yeah it's getting to the point that I might just stop going there.

"Wow you look great, how much have you lost!" A variation of you look good/great and keep it ups. I also have gotten "You look great as is even if you don't lose anymore weight".

To hit the 130's, only 2 pounds away! I haven't been in the 130's since roughly 6 years ago...

When the topic of my weight loss has come up at work and I mention wanting to lose more the most I have received in response is "Well even if you don't lose more weight you look great as is!" which I simply take as a compliment. I am now in a normal BMI range working to get down to where I feel more comfortable. All of my…

Height: 5'4" SW: 200 lbs 11/2017 CW: 141.6 lbs GW: 120-125 lbs (but currently aiming for 125 and then will re-evaluate) Just using good all calorie counting, eating whatever I want in moderation. I only gained the weight when I was put on anti-psychotic medications which increased my appetite tremendously and caused me to…

Honestly at my workplace when the topic has come up people are not against it at all. I've only had one person say they could not be bothered to track calories but everyone else does not try to argue with me.

I recently (2 months ish) starting going to the gym to weight lift. While at the beginning I was trying to get my husband to join I realized I was being somewhat demanding and I should not have been trying to force him to go. He told me he will when he feels ready so I have left it at that. There really is no way to get a…

MFP is designed for you to eat back your exercise calories. I would aim to eat 50-75% back because the calories burned are usually inflated. Check to see how it affects your progress in a few weeks time and then you can make any adjustments.

It seems like no one has the right answer because apparently you defy the law of thermodynamics. If you were doing everything right you would be losing weight.

Have you tried switching up your macro intake? Perhaps more of either protein, carbs, or fat will be more satiating for you. You can also set your weight loss to 0.5 lb/week so you have more calories to work with.

Sister in law that believes Keto is magic and causes you to lose weight without realizing its through a calorie deficit.

I am 5'4" and I felt comfortable between 120-125 lbs. I started at 200 lbs and wore a size 12...it wasn't until I hit 165 lbs that I fit into a 10. Right now I weigh 143 lbs and fit a size 6 jeans. I am aiming for 125 lbs and will see if I am happy once I get there.

Food Scale, bathroom scale, and a gym membership.

The most I have gone up was around 4 lbs and it usually takes me around 1 week to go back down. Wish it was faster to return to normal...but alas what can one do.

I'm also guilty of not logging my gum! Sometimes I eat a chip or two and not log that as well. Or have a nibble of what my husband is eating when he offers it to me.

I've lost 57 lbs in 14 months which equals out to about 1 lb a week.

Everyone loses weight differently based on their genetics so no one will be able to answer you question. Keep eating at a deficit and eventually you will lose 2 inches off your thighs.

Since starting MFP I think my highest has been around 2,500 calories logged. Before that I have no idea how high I may have gone, maybe around 3-5k...

Comparing yourself to old pictures, taking note of new health markers, recognizing what your body is more capable of have all helped me try to see myself in a better light. It does take time for your mind to catch up with your body as well because you are so used to seeing yourself the way you looked before.

Yeah I am well aware of that unfortunate fact. When I was thin back before I hit my 20's I was more of a pear shape and I don't recall ever having issues with my waist size. I think the mere fact that I am closing in on my previous weight of 125 with so much more left to lose in my midsection its hard to believe all of it…

I believe that when you get a lot of steps in the beginning of the day the app gives you calories assuming that you are going to keep at the pace you were going at and if you don't it takes the extra away at the end of the day. I am not 100% sure about this though so if someone can chime in that would be great :)

My highest weight was 200 lbs but I am around 175 lbs in this before picture. 143 lbs in the after and aiming to get down to 125!!

Like others have said, it is simply one method of maintaining a calorie deficit. For some it works wonderfully as they find themselves full eating high fat/moderate protein. There is no harm in giving it a shot. If it works for you that is great, and if it doesn't that is fine too because you can find other ways of…
