I went to Orange Theory Fitness yesterday after a two month break. I have been swimming and hiking regularly. Wow! The difference in my fitness level from the last time I went is amazing. My cardio has really improved and I could get up and down off the floor easily. It was so inspiring and it only gets better from here!!

No one ever told me how much fun it is to shop at Goodwill. There are way more clothes in smaller sizes including from some of my favorite stores. Instead of spending $50 for a shirt, I'm spending $4. I have been collecting sizes down to 12's in pants. I'm in 16's now but hope to be in 12's by summer. Bring it on!!

My birthday is next Sunday and I'll be 63. I'm in better shape than I've been in a long time. The first photo is from Sept. 2019 when I visited Tanzania and the second photo is from yesterday's hike in the mountains of Colorado. Sixty+ pounds down and 40 to go.

In November, I swam my first mile...1825 yards, in 1 hour and 20 minutes. I thought I'd challenge myself today to do it again. I swam 1800 yards in 1 hour and 12 minutes. I only started swimming laps in July and I'm thrilled with my progress. Slow and steady is paying off. :)
