Treadmill or elliptical are best for any type of HIIT cardio in my opinion. Pretty much want to start with a 3-5 minute warm up, walk for 2 1/2 minutes on speed 3 then jog for 2 1/2 minutes on speed 5. Fasted, not fasted.. It really does not make a huge difference. I'd typically like to at the very least sip some BCAA's while doing my cardio.

Pre and post workout. If ya wanna sip on some intra workout, that's fine to.

Diet, diet, and diet. But, hanging leg raises, if too difficult at first, try hanging knee raises.
