I like my Charge 2, too! The sleep tracking was the primary feature I wanted. Like abirintherain, I change out the bands to match outfits. The most comfortable one I've found is a metal mesh with a magnet closure so it is very easy to adjust or take off.

I like this quote from the article: "Your obesity or lack thereof — it's not a secret to anyone," he said. "You should get acquainted with that number." I weigh daily, but I can deal emotionally with the ups and downs. Some people can't.

I weigh everything. One thing I found interesting is that the slices of bread in a loaf of bread can vary 10-30% in weight because of the tapered ends and slope of the bread. This doesn't apply to sandwich style bread where the slices are consistent. This is very important to anyone watching their sodium intake.

I just think of my brother, who is into genealogy and sounds like he's reading Genesis when he gets going - "So and so begat so and so, who then had fifteen sons, so and so and so and so and so and so and these are all your seventeenth cousins twenty times removed" ad nauseam until I want to scream. I don't want to be that…

Determination and a logical recognition that it's a lifelong commitment are a very effective combination!

58, so I can belong for a couple years, right? I need to drop about 15 pounds to get back to a healthier weight. I can use a support network! Then I guess I'll have to move to the finely-aged over 60s group.

I'm 5 6.5", but when I weighed 140 I was wearing a misses 8 or 10, depending on the style/manufacturer...BUT (excuse the pun) I'm very pear figured, with a, um, shapely behind, so if you aren't pear-shaped, it might be a size 6 - 8 range.
