I’m 5”3 as well and calculated bmr to 1200 so if you’re sedentary I would aim for that as your goal. You said it’s too hard to do it in baby steps. Cut out outside food, no white bread/rice switch to brown and lower cal versions, watch your portion sizes, snack on fruit and veggies, and just keep tweaking a bit each week…
