Thanks so much!

I don’t have a tracker. I don’t really want to get one.

One thing I am wondering: it would be less calories used if done with arms than legs. I’d probably need a tracker to establish the difference there, do you think?

Thanks so much!

Yes! Thanks

I took a new face photo and compared it to photos of me right before I started. I realised I now have my cheekbones and pointy chin back. My neck is not as wide, and it now has a hollow at the bottom of it. I’ve also lost some more of my jowls and my double chin area is smaller.

You can eat any food, as long as it fits your calorie needs for the day

Yesterday I lowered the amount of sugar in my tea to one teaspoon and not only did it not kill me, I decided to stick with it because I can’t notice a difference. For context: before I started losing weight, I was having three teaspoons of sugar per cup of tea! I knew it was bad, but the crybaby in me insisted I ‘needed’.…

I’ve lost 8.4kg and want to lose 7.4kg more. So far, it’s taken me 3 months, so I see myself as being just over the half way mark. I’m more than happy if this takes another three months.

I love hearing this and I’m so happy for you.

I find exercise is an effective replacement for binge eating.

I’ve replaced many sauces with low calorie versions where possible/needed. I love the low calorie salad dressings from Aldi. We also use lower calorie tomato and barbecue sauces. I haven’t changed over my mustards, because they were low calorie to start with (Dijon and whole grain), and I only use a small amount, anyway.

Cutting carbs, going sugar 'free', sweatsuits and body wraps.

I moved down to an Aussie size 12 waist, today! (I've changed weigh-in/measuring day from Fridays to Thursdays). Two more sizes down, and I'll be at goal! This means a lot to me, because I started this journey with my belly being disproportionately larger than any other part of my body. (Edited because in my excitement, I…

I set a mini goal recently to move from the 60's (kilos) to the 50's. Today, I reached 59.4kg!! It's really helped my mindset to break through that.

Usually, it’s once a week on Friday. Sometimes I’ll get curious and check during the week before that. I did try doing daily weigh ins for a short while as an experiment, but it messed with my head too much, so I don’t do that anymore.

I eat carbs and love them. My weight loss has been fine

Since posting on this thread last time, I’ve also become able to now do cardio during my period. Usually, I can do cardio for over an hour, but on my period I can now go for 30 minutes or less. I’ve found afterwards, I get extremely fatigued and really bad cramps start up again. So, I’ve learned not to exercise before…

I have recently reached my healthy weight range. I still am going to lose some more weight, but not too much.

I have a few, today: - we had a black out in the first half of the day. Very proud to state that I didn't panic about not being able to access MFP, and made the choice to simply write down what I ate on paper, to make careful, conservative food choices, with the plan to track it all once the power came back on. Then, it…

I remember when I was 22, I was very healthy and active. I'd also chosen to become a vegetarian for health (not weight related) reasons and environmental reasons. I wasn't concerned about my weight. However, my flatmate had a girlfriend ten years older than me, who was obsessed with being thin (and she already was). I…

Yes. It’s very over the top

On days I can’t exercise, yes.

The terratoma twin was a glorious moment.

That's what I think  it's just so trashy, it's one of those 'so bad it's good' types of things. My partner and I like to watch light things once in a while as a form of escapism from all the serious stuff in life.

I can see a difference. Look at your belly button; it's much more shallow, now. Also, I echo what others have said about you having less body fat now

When I first rejoined, I wanted to quickly add friends because I enjoy the support and interaction. Of knowing I’m in it together with like minded people. After that, it was if we had something in common. I also add anyone who makes a request. I don’t have my diary open to anyone, as I don’t see it as necessary.

The rest of the world outside of America uses metric.

My partner has started doing MFP with me. I started 2 months ago, and he started 2-3 weeks ago. I mentioned this thread to him and suggested we could work towards this eventually, once he's settled in with his eating and exercise. He agreed. But tonight, he's just started clearing out our youngest two children's wardrobe.…

I'm getting frustrated because I can't sleep at the moment. I feel like a zombie during the day, and it's slowing my workouts down.
