I heard measurements are important too. I have a scale that tells you body fat, water, bone, muscle etc. But haven't ever really paid attention, I just look at the weight. And I've never measured myself before. I guess it's a Good time to start.

I am also trying to lose weight and get fit to join the air force. I'm 28. Needing to lose about 50lbs too get to my goal weight. I would like to commission as an officer.
