I work out before work. There is a gym in the building so I take advantage of it. My commute is over an hour each way, so I've usually had my first coffee by the time I get there.

👋 my knees are like that. If I wanted to gross out my trainer, I would have had her put her hand on my knee doing leg extensions this morning. LOL

Friend of mine went running and let her dog off leash. It jumped a fence and was hit. Amber is OK now, but I wanted to send a get well card, “my mom was stupid and let me run off leash near traffic.” 🤦♀️

I was thinking about this the other day - female sizing is INSANE!!! You have misses and juniors and womens and plus. Some are sized even numbers, some are sized odd numbers, and some are sized multiple numbers. And NO two brands are the SAME! I had a pair of NYD jeans that were 18 while I was wearing Avenue jeans that…

No, I can walk (80 lbs ago I couldn’t).

You will be shopping at thrift stores - take a box, buy a box. LOL I get rid of my clothes as soon as I realize they're too big (or otherwise don't fit). So I take my box to the back (donations accepted) and then go to the front and go shopping. The guys at Goodwill know me by now! LOL

If you're looking for the boost without the long drinking process, there are green tea energy shots. You can get your caffeine and antioxidents in a quick gulp. Personally, I love green tea (most tea) and coffee (I roast my own). Sitting and relaxing with a cuppa is the biggest benefit!

I was going to suggest Yoga and Pilates. I was in a MVA in 2016 and ended up with a broken hip to go with my bad knees. Therapy included a recumbent bike until I could walk and then treadmill. Also assorted band and body weight exercises. I tried to go back to TRX a year after - TOO SOON!! I'm now (almost 2 years later)…

I know! Spent too much time looking for the link LOL

My mom did what she called, "The Whiskey Drinker's Diet" which, I presume, is very similar but substitute scotch for martini. It would probably be fewer calories because there wouldn't be the olives.

I need to revisit the table I did. I used to track in FitDay and when I joined WW I made a table of what I weighed and the week number. I need to do that again (I think the computer crashed before I could save the table).

I've considered doing that with my girl. She needs to lose some too, unless her dad was a maine coon! My scale displays to .1 but the app will transmit to .0001. It's one of those fancy ones that does all the biometrics (however accurate they are). I also weigh at the gym on a "doctor's" scale which doesn't really have a…

Rather than having several beers a night, just have one and make it last. Or two short beers. Don't drink bad beer just because it's "light".

Just started. 3.65 miles yesterday, heading out of the Shire.

Me neither. Heels put me over 6’ tall and they do go well with my wobbly ankles. 👠

I need to hear it from other people because I don't see it when I look in the mirror (though i'm starting to). What hit was the other week I was sitting in the local bar and the owner looked at me and said, "You've lost a lot of weight." Getting a compliment out of him is almost as hard as a free drink! LOL

I'm still trying to get a before pic, I've seen it, just don't have it. There are quite a few pics of me online (cosplay) but that was way before so they don't count. My highest was about 325 lbs (I'll have to ask my doc next time I see her and see what her stats say). I'm 5'10" and started WW at 318 lbs April 2017.…

I wonder that too, will I need to use "strategic tape" to hide the excess??? You look AMAZING!!!

Thank you, now I have to wipe coffee from my monitor.

I absolutely REFUSED to ask for an extender the last time I flew and I think I managed to contort myself to get it to close - but I undid it as soon as I could and left it that way. March of 2017 we went to a wedding and I had to buy something from "Omar the Tentmaker" to wear. I didn't see the pics with me until a couple…

Mini goal is to get to 80 lbs lost by Halloween and 90 lbs lost by New Year's. I'm on the edge of the first one, should hit it next week, which is motivating me to "behave."

I called customer support yesterday and when the person answered, she called it "Double-u double-u". If [native English speakers] find this a mouthful, what about the poor ESL people?

We have a Total Gym [gathering dust]. I just ordered a pilates dvd to do with it. That should shake off the dust!

I don't have trouble finding the TIME to exercise, more like ACTUALLY DOING IT. It's much easier on work days, we have a gym at work and I park at that entrance. I go in in sweats and have to walk through the gym to get to my section so that means I have no excuse. The days I don't go into the office, it's much easier to…

I joined MFP for about the same reason. Too easy to eat the 0SP foods, for me the high carb 0 point foods are my downfall. So I still go to meetings and, so far, double-tracking is working.

@Oppaloopa Check the minimum requirements. I couldn't download it to my iPod Touch (iOS 9.4) but I could download it to my iPad (12.x).

Don't set a goal of "I'm going to do a 5k this weekend" if you've never done a 5k. Do something small you can do every day. Maybe "I'm going to walk around the block every day this week." And when you can do that every day, "I'm going to walk around 2 blocks every day." Think of it more as "attendance" goals rather than…

I started using almond milk in my coffee because I HATE skim milk and I'm trying to go with a lower fat alternative. Otherwise I'd be drinking raw milk (you can get it in PA). Years ago, I gave up salt on a lark for a New Year's resolution. It stuck (I wish other changes were that easy). I used to put so much salt on stuff…

There's a podcast I listen to called Whys Advice. One of the things the host says is to set attendance goals, not performance goals. When I set date and weight goals (like lose 10 more pounds by Christmas), I will be a little bummed if I don't make it, but I also will look at it as "Hey, I lost X, that's better than…

Yes you can. If you’re using the app, put your finger at the right end of the line you want to delete and slide left. If you’re online, there should be a ⛔️ that you can click to delete the line.
