Yesterday 151.00 This morning; back to reliable and consistent 152.6. Probably because I scraped the bottom of the popcorn bowl to rake up the last tidbits of truffle salt. 😂

Six feet. Mind blowing.

Thanks for the tip. I was reading that Oofos are supposed to be great. Went bundling over to DSW. Not impressed. And especially not at $60 bucks. I ordered some xanthan gum to experiment with using in homemade ice cream instead of sugar free pudding. Amazon accidentally sent me five bags. One bag was torn, and the fine…

Annoyed. I bought a premade salad. Just opened it for lunch. It has about two cups of lettuce and NOTHING ELSE except flavored tortilla strips, sesame sprinkles, and dressing. 🤬 Won’t be buying this again. Should have looked at it closer.

Impressive. 👍🏻 @AnnPT77 not intending to take away from the other thread, but that is a ladies thread. The lats convo was coed and someone idly suggested making it a thread . 🤷🏻♀️

That’s wonderful! I always picture what certain weights would be as a shopping cart full of roasts, bags of potatoes, or a giant bag of dogfood etc. You’ve offloaded a whoooole lot of merchandise there! 😅

@sollyn23l2 i pointed out to the podiatrist that yoga incorporates most the foot stretches on the Plantar Fasciitis handout and asked if I should modify. He told me no need to modify, yoga is one of the best things I can do for it. So I’ve got a license to yoga, am taking full advantage of it, and let me tell you, I’m…

Day 11 of no sugar substitutes (other than a wee bit in a necessary vitamin). Everything that follows is anecdotal, since this is too short a time to draw conclusions. I feel clearer headed. To my surprise, even though I’ve gone back to “regular” bbq sauce, Hersheys Syrup, etc my 7-day average sugar consumption remained…

You used to be able able to share them via the friends newsfeed. Alas, that is dead and buried.

151.00 Major crochet project with hundreds of hours invested is aaaaaaaalmost complete. Has helped me avoid many thousands of calories, in all likelihood. Hoping to model it for ya’ll shortly. New “calorie avoidance” project is raring to go. All supplies are now at hand.

From my perspective, do it now. I WISH WISH WISH I’d had the smarts to do it at 43. Jeez, if I had it to do all over again…..

Yes, 2310 to lose half a pound a week. I wasn’t losing and was frustrated- til I reviewed my diary and saw that for the most part I was averaging well above that, so duh, no wonder no movement. Are you very short? How did you get to 1200? 1200 is awfully low. I’d be clawing the walls and snarling at everyone within…

I’m just happy for you that calculating this is a problem in the first place. It means you’re getting off your bottom. Good for you!!!’ Welcome to MFP, @hazelm92024

I’d also suggest reframing. Don’t “hate” weighing and logging. Instead, “need to weigh and log to improve my health”. “Get to weigh and log to be there for my kids and family”. Anything you frame as punishment, is punishment. Take the punishment words out of your vocabulary.

Check out this woman’s thread. She started with numerous health problems. I find her very inspiring. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/comment/48405819#Comment_48405819 @kiteflyer105

Welcome to MFP @marie062399 Maybe we could help your break this down into bite size chunks. Trying to start everything all at once is overwhelming. Maybe think of yourself as a train picking up steam. What could you start today that would be an improvement? Switching to diet soda or seltzer water? Setting a goal to walk X…

You certainly did that! Welcome to the boards! 😂😂😂

Well, I’ll be. My whole life I thought a gingko was the one with gumballs, but Google says that’s a sweetgum. They are unbelievably spiky and hard, hurt to step on, and are easy to roll an ankle on. That’s great, because I could never reconcile how a graceful tree like a gingko could spawn gumballs. Now I know it’s two…

We were doing strap stretches at yoga last night and “knitting our shoulder blades together”. I was thinking ”damn! This would have been a better lat pic!” I keep trying to get glimpses of my back now lol. I feel like full on Exorcist. Jeebus. Just wowwwwwwwwww.

Does a drink count? I’ve been blown away by Lidl’s flavored seltzer waters. The black cherry is delicious, and the raspberry lime tastes like a cream soda for some reason. Only ingredients are carbonated water and “natural flavors”. Zero cal, of course. I hate that it comes in plastic bottles but it doesn’t have the…

We have some ginkgos near the Square that are ethereal. I look forward to walking by them every autumn, pausing and looking through the butter yellow leaves to a crisp blue sky. That’s one of my happiest moments. I’ve never seen trees a flawlessly, evenly, ravishingly, soft, transparent pure gold as these trees. I want to…

I’m not just “blessed” and get to eat 2310 calories a day. I also normally average about 20,000 steps a day, either an hour training session or an hour cardio weights class, a minimum of 45 minutes swimming laps, and probably a hot power yoga class. I typically turn my “move” ring 4-5 times, except on a rest day, where…

We all do it. Don’t punish yourself for being human.

Just read an article on Newsweek about a woman who did a 30 day water fast “and lost 25 pounds”. The first two thirds of the article touted her loss and how she felt “closer to her creator” , how prayer and worship got her through this, that she felt lighter (duh), complexion better, less inflammation, and dark circles…

WTF for real? I haven’t seen those and it took me years just to get over the fear a tarantula was in the grocery store bananas.

Modeling for them. Not mine lol.

Mmmmm not in Duncan Hines-land

@Crochetluvr https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/J1y1vyNcTlCsfp7CmQTz03/seven-of-the-worlds-most-famous-snails Yours is now #8. The bar isn’t real high here.

152.6 for three days running. I guess I’ve found maintenance. 😂 Unfortunately, it was loss I was seeking.

Zillow does a “walkability” rating, which I find very interesting. We are in a historical suburban town, with extensive walking trails, and if you live close in, you can walk to just about anything- including doctors appointments, gyms, yoga, restaurants, theaters. I have put less than 30,000 miles on my car in the nine…
