Went to a store an tried on a pair of trousers They were a little too loose to my liking and I wanted a size down form the size 36 (US size 4 I think UK 6 I think) Deeply disappointed that they don't have it in 34. I have outgrown one of my favourite stores at the bottom end

Today it was my morning workout for 30 minutes in my home gym and at the end of the day a 5km run.

I ensure I have a sheet under my duvet so I can kick that one off and still be covered - once the sweat is gone the cooling down becomes an issue for me.

Today my workout was my morning session and a 5km run as well as my workwalk (5km total)

Went for a 5K run today. Yesterday my workout was taking the stairs up one of our drying towers at work. Let' just say the views over town are magnificent. My calves were not happy with that unexpected climb

i never used C25K as a perfect schedule more like a guide, One schedule does not fit everybody. So if the breathing schedule does not fit try something slightly different. Other than that I just read a to of experiences and ended up just running as I felt was right for me

I used to hate exercise I did not want to move this was when I was at my heaviest. But I was honest to myself I'd always felt better when I did exercise and I also realised that I was uusually thinner then. I looked at when in my life I felt happiest, analysed what was in my life then and missing now. I started copying…

I have issues with my wrist occasionally that started to affect my fingers - turned out to be osteoartrosis. Bummer but at leat I know now and can work with it

I have been logging for 5 years now Using different systems but all in all it is 5 years. TBH I know that it works for me and I actually like it most of the tie, plus it is such a habit now. I'll continue logging for as long as I want/like Happy to continue to do so

Some people are better with stairs than other it seems. It has to do with being in shape and other stuff but also just plain old who yo are A famous Norwegian skater - Johan Olav Koss (4x gold medalist in the Winter Olympics) was notoriously bad at stair climbing Nobody could say he was in bad shape though

Thursday; my weights morning workout, a 5km run and a longish walk to and from public transport

I too lost all my weight and currenty maintain 'eating back my excise calories' Not understanding the difference between the NEAT system and TDEE is really the symptom why some people (e.g. slimdownt ) think they are superior in their approach. NEAT is really quite a good/smart system to work with.

Last Thursday I gained my final illusive walking Garmin badge when I took a 36km walk and took 56K steps in one day. Next up 10x the 60 day badge in a row for 10k steps (meaning 600days of 10k steps a day)

This! Both bring lunch and go together for a walk instead of take out lunch (cheaper too)

My husband has an apple watch, I have a Garmin Hr and Forerunner 235 and used to have a fitbit. Apple watch is nice and great but my husband finds it a pain as a simple steps tracker. On the other hand my Garmin works well like that but does not have some of the more interesting gizmos that the apple has (like apple pay).…

How horrible, I hope your injuries do heal quickly though. You'll probably be sore as, once the adrenaline goes. Still I had to smile as I can so relate to the bike comment. When I was hit by a careless cyclist last winter and landed quite painfully on my write my first thought too was about whether or not my bike was…

My salads are a meal in itself They are large 1.5L lunchbox is squashed full of veggies. I even have a reputation at work due to the shear size of it. But note: No dressing

I starte running 2.5 years ago when I was 48. I started as,, like you, felt my walks were not fast enough and to entice my husband back into running. Now I love it but I also see the difference with those that started much earlier in life. So be it. I also tarted late with weight training and being healthy o:)
