  • @jugar Is this experiment going to be on the May spreadsheet? I looked for it but didn't see it.
  • PW 345.2 CW 348.8 I really felt bummed this morning about my weight gain, although it was inevitable due to minimal exercise (again) this week. Then I started fussing at myself because I'm so sick and tired of starting over, especially when my starting point is where I started from at the last starting point. It's the same…
  • Super Yay! @Terytha! I'm so happy for you and inspired by you. You've done an amazing job!
  • Welcome aboard, @jguldi11. It's great having you join our team. 😃
  • I look forward to having you join us on FitBit, @jugar. I love their new Get Fit Bingo games that come with the premium edition! @micki48 I super loved the adorable pic of your grandbaby! She was really going after what's hers! I love it! LOL
  • I forgot to post my steps for last week, which were a HUGE decrease from previous weeks, but oh well.
  • My goals for this week are 15,000 steps a day, which means exercising is inevitable in order to reach that goal....one day a week as a rest day from vigorous exercise but I still need to do at least a gentle 30 minute walk on that rest day. 64 oz of water daily Not eating after 7, which I've been trying to do for weeks now…
  • @evangsimmons170 PW 341.6 CW 345.2 My eating wasn't the problem. I didnt exercise anywhere near what I had been doing over the last 5-6 weeks. I've noticed over the years that the biggest trigger for me to lose weight is exercising first, eating second. This was an emotionally draining week for me. Plus I had a few virtual…
  • @micki48 The pic from your walk was awesome, and yes, I saw the heart shape in the clouds. God's handiwork is absolutely incredible! @conleywoods I wanted to take Sunday off from exercising too, but I guess my singing and playing the keyboard in church was so vigorous that FitBit counted it as 34 minutes of…
  • I messed up my good sleeping cycle on Wednesday by staying up practically all night long to work on something for my job. I have not quite recovered from that stupid stunt yet. Since Wednesday's sleep debacle, I've struggled with fluid retention and exhaustion. But I refuse to go backwards. I've worked too hard. That said,…
  • @micki48 I totally agree with @Terytha. The journey is everything. Keep on keeping on!😃
  • You're on @Terytha I was just thinking of a plan for my final push to reach my 100,000 step goal before midnight when I read your post. We got this!
  • Frankly, I rarely look at it. It was too cumbersome to get started, and once I did, there's nothing on the site that motivates me to go back and check it. It's nothing like MFP or FitBit. It's well-intentioned but doesn't do it for me.
  • @evangsimmons170 PW 342.4 CW 341.6 I was hoping for more, but I'll take it! I think it's time to change things up a bit. Next week, I'm going to incorporate more outdoor walks into my daily routine. I get a totally different burn with outdoor walking than I do with my Leslie Sansone workouts, no matter how many video miles…
  • Yes!!!!! And thanks for the kudos.
  • So here's my plan for this week: I've already planned my workouts for the week like I did last week. I'm going for 10 Leslie miles a day. I know I can do this because I did it once last week. I think the reason I wasn't able to have more 10 mile days is because I didn't plan specific enough for the actual time when I would…
  • @jugar I'm sorry about your fall. I hope you heal quickly. Someone posted that you don't like baths, so take lots of hot showers. I'm a shower girl myself, as my arthritic knees make getting out of a bathtub quite painful. Anyway, please take care of yourself. We need you! @Terytha I hope your migraine goes away quickly. I…
  • @micki48 I hope you wear your FitBit while you mow so that it can track your steps and exercise. You'd be surprised how it will add up today!
  • @evangsimmons170 Drum roll please.... PW: 347 CW: 342.4 I am DEFINITELY going to continue planning my workouts for next week! It's like after 5 weeks and a significant increase in workouts, my body/metabolism finally conceded and said, "OK, she isn't playing this time!" LOL
  • @jugar that handwashing YouTube was insane! LOLOL. A prime example of how creative (or crazy) we get when we've been couped up in the house for too long! Too funny! Thanks for sharing.
  • @Terytha I loved the googly eyes! Too funny! Do whatever you gotta do to stay sane, right? Enjoy your day. @micki48 I super loved your enclosed porch! I'd be there all the time if I could! @conleywoods BEST. DATE IDEA. EVER! I love it!
  • @cory17 I'm so sorry your tenants had no regard for your property, especially one with so much meaning to you! Sometimes you wonder if owning rental property is really worth it, but it's something I'm really interested in doing in the near future. I too am trying to "eat from our cupboards and freezer." I'm doing really…
  • @Gidgitgoescrazy I definitely did not do Monday's 10 miles all at once. I did 3 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, and the last 4 that night. The most I've ever done at one time is 8 miles, but that was YEARS ago. I'm in it for the long haul and don't want to do anything to kill my momentum or injure myself. I only allow…
  • In other news, I did a total of 10 Leslie Sansone miles yesterday for the first time in my life! I feel amazing! I got in almost 20,000 steps yesterday altogether. I'm especially proud of the fact that I actually planned my workouts for this week (Monday-Friday). (I wrote out my plan on Saturday evening.) Who knew having a…
  • OK @micki48, there I was reading your post when what you said above struck me SO funny! You went from removing "baked on crud" to having "a healthy salad for lunch." I immediately thought, "What did she do, make a salad from the baked on crud?" LOLOL Let's just call it my shelter-in-place craziness! LOLOL
  • I got the invite in an email. When I clicked on "join team," nothing happened. However, when I logged into my account on FitRockr, there was a message that said I had been invited to join the team and asked me to click "accept" or "deny." Thanks for the invite; I accepted! I'm in! WOO HOO! Thanks for going the extra mile…
  • Let's do this! I actually planned my works for the week (Monday-Friday) last night! I'm ready!
  • I got the same results YinxFed. I can only "enter" but not "join." I see the same 2 names listed as you did.
  • @AustinRuadhain I just joined but there are no other participants listed and the name of the league is not listed. It looks like this:
