Has anyone else had trouble with their fitbit since the time change? My steps didn't reset last night. I've rebooted the fitbit and rebooted my phone. I'm hoping it resets tonight.

I had to start taking Miralax every other morning and it works great. I spoke to my doctor and she said that it is perfectly safe and your body won't get dependent on it. You just need to drink a lot of water with it. Have you thought about increasing your calorie intake? 1100 calories is awfully low for someone that…

Right, I agree. I'm nowhere close enough to goal to even think about it, but if I were you I would wait awhile before even considering it. I've heard some people here on the boards say that their loose skin eventually tightened up on it's own. You are young so you have that going for you too.

Ha ha ha. I used to be a runner and flop......flop....flop. It was awful. I had to wear two bras....a regular bra and a sports bra over top of that. My shoulders have permanent indentations from bra straps. It's funny looking back on it now...but it wasn't at the time. So, I just want to be normal for awhile after all of…

Question of the Week: When you think about your weight goals, what does success look like for you? I chose a goal weight of 135 because that gets me just into the "normal" weight range for my height per the BMI chart. I think actual success though is how I feel though. I want to feel "normal" rather than weigh what some…

I worry about the excess skin problem too. So far the only thing I've noticed is my thighs...and I don't really care about that too much. But if my stomach skin is hanging down to my knees....I'm definitely getting surgery. :p I think I've just watched too much of those weight loss TV show. I agree about the scale. I don't…

Daily Post: March 3rd Track: Yes Calories under goal: Yes Exercise: 4600 steps walking I was having some stomach issues late in the day so I wasn't able to get in my workout on the bike. I did go shopping early in the day so that helped make up for it. I tried kale chips today .....they were so gross...what a waste of…

Daily Post: March 2nd Track: Yes Calories under goal: No, 90 calories over Exercise: 2200 steps walking + 65 minutes exercise bike (15.5 miles) Unfortunately I picked the wrong selection from the MFP database when I was tracking today. I noticed it when I was double checking the entries for correctness. Thus, I ended up…

Daily Post: February 28th Track: Yes Calories under goal: Yes Exercise: 7700 steps walking + 30 minutes exercise bike (7.5 miles) I saw my doctor today and she wants me to do shorter workouts on the exercise bike but at a higher intensity. I had gotten kind of complacent and wasn't doing a true cardiac workout. So, today I…

Hello, I'm Cindy. I'm 56 years old and I have been overweight on and off most of my adult life. I've been in this group since November. I've lost 52 lbs since I joined MFP in October. I still have quite a ways to go....but I'm getting there. I currently work with a weight loss physician to help me set my calorie and weight…

I might not be the best person to ask. I worked in the field too long with a tough population and got completely burned out. That being said, my best advice, unless she wants to pursue a doctoral degree is to get a Master's in Social Work. There is just not much you can do with a master's in psych. If a supervisor is a MSW…

Thanks. I will give them a try. Yes, I have added potatoes and corn back into my diet..... on a limited basis. I do stay away from breads and pasta. I did buy some Swerve so I have that available now. I also just bought a spice rack so I have easier access to spices. Oh, I made boiled eggs for the first time in the Instant…
