I find that once my sugar consumption gets past a certain point, it then continues to creep up over a period of time, along with the increase in calories because whereas sugar is yum, its satiate score is low for me. Not the same as binging I know, but still a trigger.

Strong and super toned - they look fab ! I personaly think the upper arm is really hard to get into a good place after huge weight loss, so its extra impressive !
-
Thats some great condition you have there in 2019 girl !
-
Well done on the weight loss !! I think you look great in both pics.

If you are going to do it, at least do it via some mega food tour and enjoy it ! You've got this OP - good luck !

Great good news item - well done OP !

On this - my dog was bitten by a snake on a walk last week and I had to carry him back to the house to get him in the car to speed to the vets (He's okay now !). Point being, he weighs 10.5kg and I appreciate he was more or less a deadweight in my arms, but still, he is 10.5 kg. And I only carried him for about a third of…

Hello OP - Despite the name, I am a keto-er. I would really encourage you to do a lot of reading on keto and find a version of it that appeals to you. Some count calories, some don't (I do !). Find the veggies you like and max out on those bad boys every single day within your carb count which you set for yourself. If you…

76lb is amazing in that timeframe - well done ! Has their been much of a shift in your BP ?
-
I wasn't actually bothered about my weight as long as my health markers were fine (yes, ignoring BMI  ) and it didnt stop me from doing anything. Once my BP went la-la, I changed my WOE the next day - 35lb down, BP out of the red zone and much better habits have been established to the point it feels a bit weird to…

Lowering my carb intake did a lot to put mine in the right range (actuall Excellent as per the Dr - shame about the weight !).

Hello OP - and firstly, well done on the awesome weight loss to date !! 1. You are still losing weight - do you think your diet is more sustainable now or might it be because you have lost so much weight to date, your calorie deficit is naturally smaller ? Are you weighing and logging all your food and drinks? 2. I am…

I think so too - its a reminder of what a permanent increase of what seems like a small amount of calories can do (even if not quite correct).

Hi OP and well done on the 70lb ! Are you tracking and weighing all your food ? Am wondering if you might have some portion creep going on.
-
I appreciate he is healthy off the back off his experiment but am not sure that means the general population would have the same outcome ? If I remember correctly, the guy who did the "100grammes of sugar a day and I lost loads /am healthy" thread did an awful lot of exercise. With this in mind, surely we have to place any…

Hello OP, I am a couple of inches shorter than you and I didnt notice losing a stone and I didnt notice gaining a stone (and its friends) either until I went up a size. Do you carry your weight all over rather than in one particular spot ? I carry it all over so I am a good 1 and 1/2 to 2 stone between sizes. My weight…

This - Magnesium really helped me with this too. Can help with sleeping as well !

Me too please !

Well done on the 10lb loss ! LMAO at this "you can only use that if you are screaming and/or looking at something that is right in front of your face".
-
You've lost nearly 10% of your starting weight - I appreciate its not as visually dramatic as you had hoped. What you might not realise is that you rear view might have improved a lot, its just difficult for you to see. To answer your question, it was 28lb for me but my starting point was rather higher. I think you are…

Firstly, well done on losing 15 lbs in that timeframe ! I know the horse has bolted a bit, but take those measurements now ! I personally take more notice of measurements than I do the scale. My starting point was super lardy and I lost 20lbs before anyone else noticed and another 10 before I could get my "skinny" jeans…

Please add me too !

Ooh this really spoke to me - in my head, I was overweight, not fat and definitely not 'that' fat. Except I am ! Some of it is because I do think when other people have an issue with mine or anyone elses weight, its their problem. Added to which (all) that weight has not stopped me from doing anything either. So why diet…

Loving your menu @zeejane4 Hello OP, There has been mention of macros and tailoring to your needs and this is really important. For example, low carb high protein tends to not limit my hunger, however low carb high fat does (and with quite a bit of exercise, I can get in 100g of quality wholegrain carbs / veggies and still…

okaaay....I respect your right to an opinion and perhaps you could respect mine, which is backed up by actual and multiple instances of experience.
-
Thank goodness for that (am a Brit) I actually gagged slightly reading about this process. :(
-
Not weighng food - am still shocked at just how bad I was with portions....
-
Blimey - I did not know that about sugar !

Other posters have mentioned fat - I find upping my fat for the first meal is usually enough, exercising after that meal definitely gets things, ahem, moving.
